This is a long shot, but is there anyone in Southern California who's available to present a physics colloquium on Monday Nov 7 at 11? We provide good conversation, lunch, and a modest honorarium. DMs are open.
For those interested in working at the intersection of physics and AI, please consider applying.
I've really enjoyed being a part of the interdisciplinary and cross-university community that this institute has helped to create.

Interesting research from a large team of intermediate econ instructors: On average, students learned less during the pandemic-afflicted semester than in prior semesters, with effects sizes of about 0.1-0.2 SD's on a standardized econ test. #teachecon
