It should. You can try the Taskbone OCR plugin if you want to check what works.

Unfortunately, making PDFs searchable is quite another matter. OCR on PDFs is currently not supported by the plugin, but could be done. However, this is probably not what most people really want/need.

I think your other tweet made your workflow clearer to me and I get it now. Unfortunately it's not possible right now. Feel free to DM me more details about your ideal workflow, though. Maybe with more details we can find a solution that works for you.

It looks at the content of a doc, not at how it looks in reading mode. There are no tasks in the doc, so no tasks are added to Todoist. You'd need to run it on the original docs, which is probably not what you want. There may be a better way in the future, but I can't say when.
