Having convos about whether Candiace was fired 3 years later is weird. Let’s go with she was fired. Now what? There’s a new season of #RHOP with someone who allegedly committed fraud, a pill popping Fireball drinking addict, a woman whose husband was on dating app, a black civil rights activist who left everything to his white wife and nothing to his kids and the thing that goes viral every 3 weeks is if Candiace, a former housewife, was terminated or not.

This is actually a condescending view of working-class people. I grew up in a working-class immigrant family and we ate at Red Lobster and The Cheesecake Factory for "fancy nights out." But even we understood that the White House should not look like the inside of a Red Lobster. Working-class people are not culturally illiterate just because their experiences are shaped by their limited means.
