In 2012, Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed signed a public letter supporting Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi’s power grab and calling on him to “purge the media and the police as quickly as possible.”
He was a Columbia med student. The letter was published in Al-Ahram. 46 Egyptian American “leaders” signed it. His name is #33.
Morsi then cracked down on journalists. Mass protests followed. The military removed him. Egypt banned the Brotherhood.
Today El-Sayed says he disavows the Brotherhood and won’t explain the signature.
The letter is public. The record is clear.

Abdul El-Sayed has been running on that slogan while his campaign raked in $14 million with only 29% small donors.
Direct PAC money is relatively small, but the Super PAC supporting him, has pulled in millions from his father-in-law, the UAW, CAIR-linked groups, and others and sources are saying it’s well above 14 million.
The receipts are public. This guy is just LOW IQ!
