An example that placements are great but branding is more important

Let it be known I went from 2018 producing a song on billboard hot 100… Getting signed to Timbaland. Multiple sessions with the guy..even dropped a few records. And now 2022 I’m working two 9-5’s at the same time completely unrelated jobs. Humbled is an understatement

Branding, keep building your name, eventually you will be able to charge high amounts for beats, only gotta sell a few a month and you still up $10k+. Build that brand value, that’s the key

That first episode on the Kanye doc really just shows that people don’t see you as a star until the rest of the world does… never lose that drive, that belief that vision just cause others don’t see it at this point in time. You might have that hit right now‼️

The era when producers were making 40-50k per month selling beats online is kinda on pause ngl. I’m probably in the top 5 and I’m nowhere near that rn. You can still make 6 figures and it’s crazy but you know how it is… U always want more

I don’t think it matters too much unless you literally can’t make your own melodies, then you’re just dependent on other producers every beat

Why you gotta charge at least $1k for exclusives, we need to change the standard…
Swayze Music (@SwayzeMusicRd) profile pictureSwayze Music@SwayzeMusicRd19 Dec 2021
Do people really complain about $100 exclusives? Artists consider this. A basic lease is what? $30 say only 10 people buy it. That’s $300. So selling to you exclusively fir $100 means they losing money out the gate. And that’s only the front end. 🤦🏻‍♂️ people so selfish.

IK You can get rid of Omnicron easy. make a beat and play it where there's been break out cases... I know you might be curious why, it's real simple though... That strain is a weak bitch, and your shit slaps!🤣Not like you'd see new sights after, Taysty+Kitchen=Inseparable🤣👑
