Iranian-American Iman Dashti in Dearborn for October 7 speaking about the Iranian regime which is so brutal to his own relatives. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed himself indicated how pro-regime Dearborn is. Iman proposes peacemaking in opposition to extremist voices. Dearborn minister Ted Barham follows on saying he supports Iman and people severely mistreated by the regime. State Rep. Alabas Farhat tries to malign Iman and others as "paid agitators", Anthony Deegan pushes back.
BBC story of a protest I joined alongside Muslim people during my ministry days in Britain. As Christians we do not want Muslim friends to feel targeted, or anyone including ourselves. The mayor slurs me as a “bad faith actor” and the media repeat it blindly. Legitimate critique of violence is not being a bad faith actor.

Hello from the Dearborn area where the attacker of 140 babies and young children at the Temple Israel synagogue came from. In this tweet Mehdi Hasan is mocking a lady who is at a teacher there and who had to rescue her young students that day. Mehdi is partly responsible for that attack. When I warned a few months before of Hezbollah violence like this in Michigan, our mayor verbally attacked me, and Mehdi defended him, instead of taking the threat seriously and encouraging measures to avert violence like this.

My warning of Hezbollah violence in Michigan ... terribly fulfilled a few months later in the attack on 140 babies and young children at the West Bloomfield Temple Israel synagogue.
The Dearborn mayor called me a "bad faith actor" to the media instead of taking responsibility for his own actions of not preventing violence. I would encourage the mayor to do a 180 and promote peacemaking instead, because "The peacemakers are blessed."
Replying to @AHammoudMI @macklemore
Mayor, you said I’m not welcome in Dearborn because I as a Christian years-long resident don’t approve of “Death to America” Hezbollah. So I guess it isn’t surprising that you say “F*** America” Macklemore is always welcome.

Dearborn mayor to Christian minister resident opposing "Death to America" Hezbollah:
"You are not welcome here!"
To "F*** America" Macklemore:
"You're always welcome in Dearborn!"

Hey @macklemore, if they don’t want you performing in their stadiums, you’re always welcome in Dearborn.
Come put on a show here. We’ll make it a free concert, sponsored by the City, and help make it one of the best around.
We stand with you and for a free Palestine.
Let’s make it happen.
Here in Dearborn, the quarter-century 9/11 memorial ceremony is at the exact location where the chant "Death to America" first went out in America, in April 2024, which later spread to other cities. This is in a city where the main imams of the main mosques, and other community leaders, openly praise Iran and Hezbollah, whose motto is "Death to America".
Dearborn, you have a choice:
Death to America?
Or Life?
The Messiah said "I am ... the life."
The chaos in Dearborn has to end. My op-ed for the JNS.

Former Lebanese Muslim Brotherhood fighter, now Lutheran pastor, Hesham Shehab comments on the Dearborn controversy.
At Dearborn city council just now I said that Jake Lang and his crowd being here started last year when I objected to a pro-Hezbollah street sign and the Mayor responded by telling me I'm not welcome. But I also thanked Dearborn for their more recent help in peacemaking.

Jake Lang, all this public attention to Dearborn started last year when I objected at city council to the glorification of Hezbollah violence in Dearborn. The Mayor told me I'm not welcome and that he would throw a parade when I leave, here's the video. I replied, "God bless you Mayor." There are obviously problems in Dearborn, but the solution is the peace of Christ through the cross. Mr. Lang, you aren't promoting that solution, you're just making things worse. Please stop what you're doing, for Dearborn's sake, and for sake of your own soul too.
