The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
General Valery Gerasimov, Joint Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has confirmed.

Wow. The peace deal scuppered by Zelensky was even better than we thought. Remember, Ukraine had already been fighting a civil war in its own Russian speaking regions for 8 years by the time Russia invaded in 2022. The invasion did not come out of nowhere. And yet Zelensky had an opportunity to walk away with not just the status quo ante, but an even better position than Ukraine had been in before 2022.
It is absolute insanity to have rejected such a deal. So many dead sons, brothers, and fathers. So many shattered families. So much needless suffering. And for what? Zelensky’s desire to be celebrated as a hero by Western elites?
Ukrainian MP confirms that 2023 peace plan, which was reported by @FT & accepted by Putin but rejected by Zelensky & Biden administration, envisioned:
"- Russia withdraws its troops from most of the four oblasts it had just declared “annexed.”
- The new line of demarcation runs roughly along the line as of February 24, 2022: Crimea and the part of Donbas that Russia controlled before the full-scale invasion.
- Ukraine recognizes Russian control over Crimea. - Ukraine grants Russia an unobstructed land corridor to Crimea.
- The ceasefire regime is guaranteed by NATO countries that provide protection for Ukraine.
- Russia begins negotiations with the US on its own security guarantees.
-Moreover, Russia was ready to give up the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant as well.
-And the 300 billion in frozen assets was to go toward rebuilding all of Ukraine, that is, together with the occupied territories.
-As for Crimea: we were not required to recognize it as Russian, only to recognize Russia’s control over it. In other words, we acknowledge that right now it is under Russian control (which is how it is). We were also required to adopt a law banning the return of Crimea by military means.
-The land corridor to Crimea, a highway and a railway, was to be built at Russia’s expense. The hardest question was how to guard it. That is why the Russians were ready to give up Melitopol, but not Tokmak: they feared we would cut the corridor with artillery.

The charges stem from an ongoing investigation into the since-dissolved FBI Foreign Influence Task Force.
Evidence shows that Floris discussed the FBI’s investigations into Hunter Biden routinely for more than a year both within the FITF and with others in the FBI. Contrary to his assertion that he learned of the Hunter Biden laptop from Wikipedia, Benavides regularly discussed the laptop with FBI officials in the leadup to the 2020 election.

The day before his trip, the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv REVOKED his visa.
The memos show the evidence was slim and conflicting. The FBI was preparing its own request to pull it too.
Weeks before an election.
The deep state didn't investigate Biden corruption. It BLOCKED the witness.

I just spoke to Andrii Telizhenko, who tells me he knew George Kent well and met him many times going all the way back to 2014. That adds an entirely new layer of ugliness to Kent's actions who knew perfectly well that Andrii is a Ukrainian patriot, even if he isn't a fan of Zelensky. Yet he threw him under the bus to protect himself.
Ukraine impeachment hoax operative George Kent had every reason to fear whistleblower Andrii Telizhenko’s testimony before Congress. Then, while Kent was in charge of Ukraine policy, the State Department revoked Andrii’s visa just before his flight to DC.

It's even worse than this. By the time the FBI decided to stop Andrii Telizhenko from telling Congress about Biden corruption, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine and George Kent, one of the key operatives behind the Ukraine impeachment hoax, had already done the dirty work.
While they all wanted to protect Biden, Kent and the Embassy had another motive. They also needed to cover up their own appalling acts of insubordination (some might even say sedition) in their efforts to sabotage President Trump.
The five year statute of limitations has, predictably, already expired. But that is not a good reason to simply move on. Some of the people involved may still be working at the State Department.
