Had my first community night run by my community, it was a load of fun. I had a lot more fun than I thought I would reacting to all the halloween based videos
Few things are as disheartening as someone giving you “Fan art” and it’s just AI slop. I’m okay if it’s not perfect as long as it’s human made. Actual effort means a lot. your ai slop just makes me not like you.
This! I have less than 0 incentive to start my stream until the beginning ads are over. They actively hurt anyone wanting to be there from minute one because they get slapped with ads so I can’t start before they are done
this is such a stupid take, be so for real.
i run a 5 minute starting soon screen because that’s when my opening ads run, so once i’m actually live everyone can enjoy the first hour uninterrupted before the next ad break.
starting soon screens aren’t some “big streamer privilege” lmao. don’t listen to clowns acting like there’s one correct way to stream. telling smaller streamers to ditch something useful because “people will leave” is terrible blanket advice.
Looking up guides the moment you touch a game ruins everything
Single player: lack of discovery and true engagement with the systems
Multiplayer: Ruins the shenanigans you can get up to with friends
Competitive: Leads to such a large amount of people not even understanding basics
I love being able to make the transition from generic assets to on brand themed emotes that have the same vibe. Thank you angry kirbo for being one of my favorite emotes and now im able to have my own version!
It was cool for my first community night that we had so many people with talent show up, art by people in the community and even bub showing up to jam out on the guitar on webfishing
Its crazy to me that when I started streaming I never would have considered doing a karaoke night. Yet today I had a ton of fun with it. Streaming is some of the best therapy i've ever gotten lol
Why does it feel like so many big name places are completely forgetting WHY they made an impact and WHY they had people coming in the first place.
Its like they all want to fail, they are all trying their hardest to fail and it shows
