Great week from Michael Agwi to win another futures title in Trier, Germany this week. He won both the R16 and QF matches on Friday after rain earlier in the week and didn't look back, well done Michael! #irishtennis #irishontour
What an achievement from @conorgannon02 winning the Irish Open in Carrickmines yesterday. Amazing week for Conor who scraped through his first round match saving 3 match points, and never looked back. Well done! #irishtennis #irishontour
It was a mixed week for the Davis Cup team in Moldova. A tight loss vs Montenegro on day 1 proved crucial as the team missed out on the top 2 and promotion. A convincing win today vs Kosovo avoids relegation so they remain in group 3 for next year #irishtennis #daviscup
What an atmosphere as Michael Agwi gets the win for Ireland! So nice for him to get a win here in Dublin after an impressive but tricky weekend for Ireland #DavisCup #DavisCup2025 #irishtennis
Michael is playing some nice tennis now and taking advantage of a bit of a dip from Sun. He now leads 5-2 in the second set. Let's go Michael! #irishtennis #daviscup #daviscup2025
After a tough first set for Michael, he's playing better in the second set and currently leads 2-0. Let's go Michael! #daviscup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
Michael Agwi is up next for Ireland in the 4th match, playing Sun Fajing. Good luck Michael! #irishtennis #daviscup #daviscup2025
It's a great battle from Conor and Dave but they lose out 6-2 7-5. They brought a high level in that second set but the big points didn't go their way. With that, China win the tie 3-0 #daviscup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
4-4 in the second set, the guys are playing some great tennis right now! #DavisCup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
Nice point here from Conor on the way to holding for 2-1 in the second set #DavisCup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
Some good play from Conor and Dave but they haven't been able to win the big points so far, and they lose the first set 6-2. Feels like it wouldn't take much for this to turn around, come on guys! #DavisCup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
All set here for day 2 of the Davis Cup! The doubles gets under way very soon, with Conor Gannon and Dave O'Hare set to represent Ireland, in this must win match to keep the tie alive. Let's go Ireland! #DavisCup #DavisCup2025 #irishtennis
It was a great battle from Michael Agwi today but it wasn't to be. He lost 6-1 6-7 6-0. Played some amazing tennis late in the second set but couldn't quite keep it up in the 3rd. That's 2-0 to China heading into the doubles tomorrow at 11am #daviscup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
And he takes the set! This match is going all the way after a tight second set that Michael takes in a tie break. Let's go for the third! #DavisCup2025 #daviscup #irishtennis
Another clutch hold from Michael and he's 5-4 up in the second set. Let's go! #DavisCup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
Amazing fight from Michael Agwi and he's back on serve in this second set, 4-3 up. Come on Michael! #daviscup #daviscup2025 #irishtennis
