I've been spending more time with my son going through PC settings/menus and showing him generally how basic stuff works. It's clear the necessity we had to learn this young benefitted us and no one before or after has needed to the same degree.
As someone that works almost exclusively with clubs in NYC this is objectively false. The club scene is alive and thriving and just because its not blasted on Twitter by students who are predominantly on other platforms doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Replying to @MonteCristo
The collegiate ecosystem has completely collapsed. Its basically worthless now. Its not even like small communities its nonexistent not even registered with the university anymore. I would say like 90% of clubs are gone now. Its just like a few teams that play competitively with no fans or community members. Hence why ive been basically esports blackpilled completely.
Anything below Dia means you lack a ton of game knowledge. That's an objective fact. I have coached hundreds of students that believed otherwise. Every single one that I coached from genuine low elo to high elo (bronze/silver to D+) did so after recognizing this to be truth.
League is not a skill based game. Even 50/50 believers are overstating the mechanics. It’s almost entirely knowledge
I climbed to mid diamond with no keyboard (have to click on abilities to use them). That would be master tier today.
Cannot call a game where you can reach top 1% with essentially 0 mechanics a skill based game. If you’re lower than apex tiers you’re lacking a lot of knowledge
I saw a lot of takes about CLOL going back to part time. First, I can tell from some tweets that many didnt know part time was allowed previously. Second, I understand the impact it will have in top 8 but I know several good players that couldn't afford to be full time last year.
I dont understand the obsession with mimicking traditional sports when we know we are different and cater to way more people who are still trying to subsidize being able to play at all beyond the casual level.
Good change
📢 Rally Cry is proud to announce our partnership with @RSAAOfficial and @RaidiantGG to bring you this season of CVAL and CLOL!

Isolating this to purely players and streamers:
A degree in Business administration or marketing then get a career and balance both while taking what you learn everyday and apply that to yourself
Your career teaches you and funds your hobby until you’ve either made it fully, part-time, or given up
Don’t tell me you can’t balance both
