Hey, myeloma specialists! THANK YOU for doing what you do!
I'm grateful to be here, enjoying this glorious fall weather we're having in NY. 🍁
You help make moments like these possible, and I never take that for granted.
Living with myeloma, I know firsthand how much we depend on sound scientific research, from cancer treatments to vaccine safety.
Research must remain objective, transparent and free from political influence. Our lives depend on it.
Happy to share this AMA message!
Come walk with us! 🚶♀️
This Saturday at Pier 17 in NYC, I’ll be walking with the MMRF and I’m honored to be this year’s Spirit of Hope Recipient. ❤️
We walk for better treatments, longer lives, and ultimately, a cure for multiple myeloma.

I’ve been chosen as the Spirit of Hope Award recipient at this year’s MMRF NYC Walk! Almost 4 years after my diagnosis...I'm still in remission!! Please consider supporting me!? Click on the link to read my story...no donation is too small!

I wanted to reshare this for the Myeloma Specialists out there during Blood Cancer Awareness Month. You all matter so very much to the patients, so I thank you again for your expertise, time, education and dedication! #myeloma
I wrote the letter below to thank my myeloma specialist. Then I realized it really applies to many physicians caring for our MM community. Sharing gratitude for you all this #MyelomaActionMonth. #MyelomaAwareness #mmsm #myeloma
Tomorrow I have treatment so I wanted to share my thoughts since it's #BloodCancerAwarenessMonth. It's long...it's real...it's from my heart.

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month…so here I am, making you more aware! 🙃 MM may be rare, but it’s the second most common blood cancer and still so many people have never even heard of it.
Awareness matters. Early detection matters. #myeloma

Research is a lifeline. For patients living with #myeloma and countless other cancers, continued research means longer lives. I am honored to support #fight4hematology:

I haven't been on X for a while, but perusing today and this is very exciting for us HRMM patients!
Thank you to @RahulBanerjeeMD (@fredhutch) for stopping by at #EHA2026 to share results from an analysis of the MajesTEC-3 trial based on cytogenetic & functional risk. Could Tec-Dara provide hope to patients with #myeloma and high-risk cytogenetic abnormalities or functional high-risk disease biology?🩸

Right!?
Once again, proposed cuts to NIH research funding threaten critical avenues of investigation, as well as the career decisions of young physicians and scientists. The time to act is now. Learn more: ow.ly/P9Xf50YYZ46

YES, let’s get this passed. Thus was one of our asks when we advocated on the hill:
Who loves prior authorization in healthcare? (crickets chirping) No one but payers! 🤭
This practice leads to massive waste and delays appropriate care. Let's pass S.1816/H.R.3514, the Improving Seniors' Timely Access to Care Act, to remove barriers to care! #Fight4Hematology
After my recent “blip” and increase in treatment, I’m reminded how much we lift each other up in the myeloma community. Support groups matter, they’re worth finding. For my MM peeps ~ IMF support groups: myeloma.org/support-groups
She’s a superstar! I’m just backup! But we’re a good group, if you’re high risk, join us!
Replying to @MidAtlanticMSG
I co-lead this monthly group with @TerryGlassman and if you or someone you support has high-risk myeloma, we would be happy to have you join us! Reach out to [email protected] for more information!
