Okay, that's it. I'm pinning this. I'm being drawn ever closer to the proposition that a majority of X's 611 million (alleged) users are in fact AI masquerades, fake-name trolls and Putinbots.

‼️ Overnight, Russia launched 16 ballistic missiles and more than 280 drones at Ukraine. Kyiv was targeted with Iskander-M and RM-48U ballistic missiles.
Oh maaaan, they KEEP raining ballistic missiles down on us here in Kyiv. HUGE EXPLOSIONS. Reports suggest Russia may be using ballistic missiles with cluster warheads.

Quite a chronology in the FT. In May, Putin’s associate Umar Kremlev paid for Donald Trump Jr’s wedding party in the Caribbean. In August, Trump Jr went to hunt endangered species with Kremlev in Mongolia. He also allegedly auctioned access to the trip for $225,000. In September, Propublica broke the wedding reception story. giftarticle.ft.com/giftartic…

There's definitely something weird going on with the X algorithm.
Friends, My account here, just like other Ukrainian accounts recently, is suffering from severe shadowbanning/pessimization. There has been a sharp drop in reach, as the platform's algorithms quietly remove it from search and recommendations. My Threads account, which has 25,000 followers, currently gets more reach than my account here on X. I will remain here and I deeply value our community. But just in case, I want to remind you that I have other platforms: Threads, Bluesky, and Telegram. 📷: you can press the bell icon to get notified of my new posts.

Ukraine has retaken more than 50% of Russian-occupied territory and has become a drone superpower. Unable to defeat Ukraine on the battlefield, Putin is now increasingly targeting the country's civilian population, @RLHeinrichs explains.

BC's snap election explained: The NDP started with 47 seats, one MLA had to be speaker & break ties. The opposition: 44 Conservatives, two Greens. No way this would last two more years. Only the chaos on the Conservative side kept it alive. @geoffmeggs gets it. geoffmeggs.substack.com/p/la…

Every election whose outcome Trump does not like is, by definition, "rigged." 🙄
Trump calls Brazil’s election “rigged”: “It looked like another rigged election, frankly. I didn't take sides, but it was a terrible look for the world…it looked very bad to me.”

New: Sources from three countries confirm that the Trump Administration has advocated Viktor Orbán for UN Secretary-General. The US has encouraged Orbán to enter the race, even bringing him the initial idea of a joint U.S.-Russia-China candidacy. WSJ: wsj.com/opinion/viktor-orban…

The Storm Shadows sent by the UK last week have been rapidly put to good use. The Proton plant in Oryol and the Energia plant in Yelets, which both produce missile components, were hit this week. Thank you to our UK allies for helping us cut Russian missile production.💙💛

Canada is announcing expanded economic and security ties on the anniversary of a massacre. Exactly a year after the RSF seized El Fasher in a campaign bearing the hallmarks of genocide, Canada is welcoming Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince to deepen trade, defence and security ties. Substantial evidence points to UAE support for the RSF, allegations the UAE denies. Such serious allegations cannot be sidelined as Canada pursues a closer partnership with Abu Dhabi. Canada must confront this record directly. @AnitaAnandMP, @MarkJCarney, we ask you to use this visit to seek clarity on the UAE’s role, and to hold all those enabling atrocities in Sudan accountable. On the anniversary of El Fasher’s fall, Canada must make clear that partnership carries responsibilities as well as opportunities. pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releas…

Read the replies to this modest post. Then read my pinned post from February of last year. I rest my case.
Zelenskyy reports using Starlink for strikes on enemy targets in *Ukrainian* territory. Besides, the "terms of service" of some private corporation cannot be allowed to determine a sovereign nation's capacity to repulse an invading army.

Canadians really do need to get down from their high horses and stop sneering at the Yanks. Donald Trump is a monstrous problem. He’s gone over to the enemy. But Mark Carney wants to have it both ways, and there are fresh skeletons in Canadian closets. therealstory.substack.com/p/…

Presenting Putin’s friend Warning as a credible source is nothing more than another Russian attempt to sow confusion in the West and create the illusion that Ukrainians are to blame for being killed and having their country destroyed.
As there seems to be some confusion. ➡️NO, the @FinancialTimes did NOT report, Russia agreed to withdrawing from all 2022-occupied areas of Ukraine in early 2023. ❗️FT reports, probably based on information from himself, that Putin lobbyist Matthias Warnig #claimed, Russia would withdraw. There is no second source, no independent confirmation, not even from the alleged source and the quoted former Gazprom manager - which might be the same person - itself. ‼️So I would take this with a Mount Everest of salt.

Apparently someone decided there was more rock bottom to hit after the ad with Amy Acton's mom. Not affiliated with El Sayed's campaign but he's certainly not going to disavow it. I'm not in the "anti-Israel rhetoric is antisemitic" camp but this is pretty bad
