Most people associate stablecoins with a price that stays in the same place.
FUSD takes a different approach, combining a USDC peg with contract-based price increases designed to create an appreciating stabletoken.
It's a different way of thinking about stability, and one worth understanding.

That's the model behind @LiquidApeNFTs.
What's interesting is the built-in burn-to-redeem mechanism. Holders can burn an ape to redeem its backing, reducing the supply and potentially increasing the backing per remaining NFT.
It's a different approach to the usual NFT model, where the floor depends heavily on finding the next buyer.
The utility is still under wraps, and rumors has it that each ape comes with a utility worth 3 to 5k retail value. the project is already pushing beyond the usual crypto bubble.
LiquidApes is featured across four pages of @cryptomagz, with copies shipping to multiple countries and an estimated readership of 1M.

Most token prices move because buyers and sellers move the market.
FUSD has another mechanism at work.
Value is injected directly into its contract, increasing the value backing the token over time.
That's why we call it an appreciating stabletoken.
Different mechanics. Different thinking.

We received a complaint that the team minted 200 NOT THE LIQUID APES and somehow ended up with a bunch of guaranteed whitelist spots.
Naturally, we took this very seriously.
We sat on the naughty step for a bit to think about what we'd done, before conducting a lengthy investigation and, after considerable discussion, concluded that we are in fact magnificent.
