Non-stop black cat tree rescues! 🙀 Maybe because it's almost Halloween 🎃🐈‍⬛👻 or maybe they saw us on TV and just wanted to get our attention 😹 Meet Tuna! She was a sweetie this morning and promised not to sneak out ever again! Special thanks to Delectables Cat Treats for helping me gain her trust with a quick snack in the tree and Duane Hook for the custom cat-grabber bag! Black cats are my favorite!! 😻🐈‍⬛ Meet Athena! She spent 3 days crying up in that tree after a little exploration expedition went wrong. She now realizes trees are not for her 😹 Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service 🫶 @TeslaTreeSteven – at Mays Landing, NJ

Same. But then I rescue them and return them home to their humans 😻🫶

Meet Ginger! She's today's cat-in-a-tree rescue from Philly, and my first rescue using Duane Hook from Getmeowtahere - Cat in a Tree Rescue's custom cat grabber bag! He has finger holes in the bag for a simple scruff, lift, and invert - to quickly and safely secure that precious cargo. 😻 It worked perfectly 🫶 Thanks Duane!! I'll probably post a video soon, but continue following along for our more detailed videos courtesy of The Dodo as they get caught up to our current rescues 🫶 Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service! @TeslaTreeSteven

Rue is the cutest kitten in all of Roxborough! She was this morning's cat-in-a-tree rescue, 60th for the year! With high voltage power lines nearby, the climb was challenging, but Rue made up for it by being so sweet and appreciative 😻 Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service 🫶 @TeslaTreeSteven

Behind the scenes sneak preview of Philadoptables Hunks for Hounds 2027 Charity Calendar 😻 with Tesla Tree Service's cat-in-a-tree rescuers Joe DiSilvestro and Steven William Murrow We'll be sure to share their link as soon as pre-orders are available. You won't want to miss out on this one! 🫶😽 @TeslaTreeSteven

But wait, there's more... Meet Dottie, today's 2nd cat-in-a-tree rescue! Strangely, she looks similar to today's first kitten rescue, but I can assure you there's no relation, as they were an hour apart. I drove from Wheaton Arts directly to Southampton for back-to-back cat-in-a-tree rescues 💪😻 After Dottie's rescue, I found out she was a repeat offender and was "rescued" before. That's in quotes because during that previous event, someone thought it was a good idea to cut the tree down while she was stuck in it. Please don't do that. Dottie was either very lucky before, or she's already used up some of her 9 lives. Fortunately, her rescue today relied less on luck, and more on compassion and skills. Thanks to Ellie, I got to do all the fun stuff today! 😹 While getting ready at Adventure Aquarium this morning, I received the call for help. I'm a volunteer diver every other Thursday at the Aquarium, scrubbing rocks, performing dive shows, and mostly just collecting shark teeth... So as soon as I was finished, I raced over to Philly. Ellie had many feline friends waiting to greet me in the alley, looking forward to her safe return. Even after 3 days stuck, she wasn't interested in my treats, and made me chase her around the tree a little, but she was just playing hard to get 😻 Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service 🫶 @TeslaTreeSteven – at Pitman, NJ

We're all going bananas for Banana! 🍌 He's the cutest littlest tiniest thing ever 😻 and apparently the newest resident glass blower at Wheaton Arts 😹 Poor little guy was losing his voice from crying so much for help. At first he moved out on a limb away from me in the tree, but he couldn't resist the enchanted cat calling sounds from Instagram that I played 🎶... it lured him right in! No microchip, but he's had a quick trip to the vet for fluids, a check-up, and deworming. He's got a new mommy now and another appointment for shots and other essentials ✂️🥜🙀. He's just a baby... 8-9 weeks old, 2lbs. Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service 🫶 @TeslaTreeSteven – at Pitman, NJ

Why are baby raccoons so stinking cute?! ❤️🦝😻 These poor little critters were already stuck in a sewer and rescued by the local fire department in Medford Lakes... Unfortunately, their momma never came back and these two siblings cuddled together for the last two days up in this oak tree. After getting the call for help, Joe DiSilvestro and I drove over almost right away, and were so happy to lend a hand. Caring neighbors are taking the pair to Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge 🫶 Animal-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service @TeslaTreeSteven – at Mount Holly, NJ

Skittles was a little skittish. She made me work for this one! Yup, another early morning cat rescue. I left my house at 4:45am and headed to Brick, NJ with the hopes of being able to perform a successful rescue and make it home in time for my 8 o'clock tree job in Turnersville. Looks like I was 15 minutes late; not bad, my guys were on time and got set up without me. This was Skittles' 3rd day high up in that oak tree. She was slowly climbing higher, and this morning, after setting my rope, she climbed all the way up to the tips. I was able to grab her because she ran out of tree! She was a sweetie, but didn't want to pose for pictures afterwards. I think she was embarrassed 😹 Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service 🫶 @TeslaTreeSteven – at Blackwood, NJ

It's too late, and I'm too tired to be playing games, Nikki! 😹 She's today's 2nd rescue. Apparently I like to start and end my day with cat-in-a-tree rescues now. I simply couldn't say no, especially after learning she had already spent several days in that tree in Newfield, NJ. She's an outside cat, so I'm surprised I was able to get as close as I did. So when she started to bolt, I didn't even have the time to think... I grabbed her right away, no gloves, and Delectables Cat Treats still in hand. She was growling and making all kinds of noises, so I opted to rappel out of the tree as quickly as possible while holding her scruffed. After a quick hand-off to her Mommy, hi and goodbye, she was out... right back home for a quick meal then who knows what kind of trouble she'll get into next 😹. Early morning cat-in-a-tree rescue in Norristown complete ✅ Kid is the tiniest little non-kitten kitten I've ever rescued. No typo. He's just a baby 😻 but he's actually 3 years old... Luckily he was microchipped. That's how his new mommy got the info, but unfortunately he was abandoned by his old mommy. How could she!? 🙀 Well he wandered into the right yard where he gets all the love and attention he deserves from his new family and neighbors. Hopefully he's done with the adventures in trees, since he was crying for help these last 3 days. Other than him being a little clingy, not wanting to let go of his tree nest and nearby branches, he didn't put up a fight 🫶 Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service @TeslaTreeSteven – at Pitman, NJ

With a name like Tupperware, I just knew this was going to be a fun rescue 😹! She was sweet and spicy! 🌶️ As I normally do now, I was up at 4:30 and preparing to leave by 5am for another cat-in-a-tree rescue... but I caught a break today, or so I thought 😹. I was relieved this morning when I received the text explaining that Willow, from Jackson NJ, had climbed most of the way down on her own last night, and was waiting within arms reach from the ladder below... so right back to bed I went 💤❤️ Tupperware's call for help came later, making today the 3rd day in a row for me, for a cat-in-a-tree rescue 🙀 She was in the top of a sweet gum tree in her backyard in Haddon Heights. The local fire department came earlier, but their ladder wasn't tall enough (this time). I heard she had snuck out once before and was rescued by a heroic fireman 🫶. Not sure if it was the same tree, but this time around she was at the top, and I couldn't even safely launch my rope up because there wasn't much tree above her, and too great of a risk of hitting her if I tried for a limb nearby... So I free-climbed this tree, grabbing branches and pulling myself up. I used 2 safety lanyards so I could have one attached at all times in case I slipped. Tupperware really started to perk up as I got closer. She was moving around, and extending out towards me. She seemed ready to be rescued. But she may have been a little bipolar because every now and then she'd hiss at me and show me her teeth. Gloves on for this one, though she ended up being all talk and didn't put up a fight at all. She's grounded again, back inside where she's safe! 😻 Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service 🫶 @TeslaTreeSteven – at Pitman, NJ

Good people still exist! I'm so proud to be part of such a great community of people who care deeply for animals and their families! Adriana Powers-Chasse, an officer for Associated Humane Societies Newark reached out for help last night about a cat that had been stuck in a tree in Roselle NJ... Since Rob Gillies, a fellow cat-in-a-tree rescuer, is closer, I provided his contact info and suggested to call him immediately. This wasn't a typical rescue for many reasons. Unfortunately, the cat had been up there long enough that this was an emergency. It was showing signs of exhaustion and dehydration. It was actually twitching it's feet and seemed lethargic. Rob charges a reasonable fee, actually too low - but I'll get into that later, and a portion of the rescue fee was going to be covered by the property occupants... Since this rescue was an emergency and couldn't wait for me to arrive the next morning (and it's really too far for me anyway) I gladly pledged the remainder for Rob to come right away, and he did! 😻 It was a successful rescue, almost completely in the dark last night 🙀 Neighbors, friends, animal advocates and professionals all coming together to help an animal in need! 🫶 The kitty is safely at the shelter and the callers are planning to adopt! 😻 Adriana Powers-Chasse, Associated Humane Societies of Newark, and Rob Gillies went above and beyond to help this cat and certainly deserve our gratitude!! Please consider 'following' them on Facebook and send them a donation if you can. I know first hand what it takes to rescue animals from trees, and that's why I can assure you that Rob's fee is too low. It takes thousands of dollars of equipment to simply climb a tree safely and appropriately, not to mention the countless hours of training, plus equipment inspections and replacements - yes, ropes, harnesses, ascenders, lanyards, carabiners, helmets and PPE have to be inspected and replaced all the time. Rob's fee barely covers his time, let alone equipment upkeep, so please consider donating. Here's his direct Venmo: venmo.com/u/Treehumper Thank you to everyone involved, for highlighting the kindness in our community 🫶 @TeslaTreeSteven – at Mount Laurel, NJ

Mocha was way up there in this giant tulip poplar! I drove to Middletown Delaware at 5am this morning to rescue him 🙀. Poor fella spent several nights up in that tree, but he's safe and sound inside now with his loving family 😻 @TeslaTreeSteven Cat-in-a-tree rescues are always FREE with Tesla Tree Service 🫶 @ – at Edgemoor, DE

Another early start today... for a familiar face, Nayla from Toms River! Yup, she's a repeat offender; guilty as charged. 😹 And this time around was definitely more of a challenge. Ready for another cat-in-a-tree rescue video?! Here's Onyx. I'm just now getting around to editing his rescue video. He's a friendly feral that was stuck in a tree for several days.
