Great question! Here’s the catch: you can create unlimited Snippets, and 5 are active at a time, with a swap every 2 weeks. New accounts also get 30 day access to premium features to see what unlimited active Snippets feel like.

Thanks, Sam! A new MacBook and TextExpander is a great combo. Your keyboard is about to get a lot less typing. 🙌

Not only do they make one of my fav pieces of software, @TextExpander have really soft t-shirts
✅ What to do: Our team and our customers have identified a few apps that enable Secure Input and lock TextExpander (including 1Password, Box, and LastPass). Typically, quitting out of these apps can solve the problem.
We reached out to 1Password directly, and they let us know that they are working on a solution. The 1Password team recommended that users either close the 1Password window before switching focus to another app or try unlocking the app.
Six months ago, you saved the perfect Snippet. Then forgot the abbreviation.
AI Recommendations fix that. TextExpander reads what you're typing and surfaces the right Snippet from your library. No abbreviation required.
Your whole library, working for you. 👇
Proudly (and quietly) holding workflows together 🤜 🤛
Thanks for the shout out, @Trevor_Foley!
Hot take: The teams winning with AI aren't generating more content.
They're deploying it faster.
AI writes a great first draft. But getting that approved message into every email, chat, and ticket instantly? That's the gap most people ignore.

That is indeed the business.
Hot take: Typing speed is not the point.
The real value of TextExpander is that 50 people send the same answer the same way. Every time.
Speed is the side effect. Consistency is the product.
Does your team care more about fast or accurate?
Entrepreneur @theDanielJLewis trusts TextExpander to help run his podcast and business:
"TextExpander has been part of my workflow for nearly two decades. I can type '.tap' and it expands to theaudacitytopodcast.com/, with a prompt letting me add a path after the domain. So '.tap' + 'textexpander' becomes the full URL: heaudacitytopodcast.com/text…. You can create email templates, social media posts, live streaming announcements—anything you type repeatedly. TextExpander can even run JavaScript!"
