A lot of us were very willing to have a debate without heat, @stonewalluk, and the reason that never happened wasn't because gender critical feminists didn't want one.
While we were trying to get you to listen to our concerns, your former CEO was telling a BBC boss that gay people not wanting to include the opposite sex in their dating pool was 'sexual racism'. While we were pointing out the homophobia inherent in gender ideology, Stonewall ambassador Alex Drummond (a bearded, heterosexual man who'd had no surgery and taken no cross-sex hormones but liked wearing skirts), was going into schools to talk to students about his 'lesbian' identity. @BluskyeAllison, who actually is a lesbian, was subject to unlawful discrimination at her place of work for tweeting: โStonewall recently hired Morgan Page, a male bodied person who ran workshops with the sole aim of coaching heterosexual men who identify as lesbians on how they can coerce young lesbians into having sex with them. Page called [it] โovercoming the cotton ceilingโ.โ
When the UK Supreme Court upheld women's right to single sex spaces, you issued a statement expressing your unhappiness about the ruling. In her report on your unhappy influence at the University of Essex, you were found by barrister @akuareindorf to have misrepresented the law as it related to women's rights: '[Stonewall have] stated the law as Stonewall would prefer it to be, rather than the law as it isโ.
In 2018, you publicly advised schools to shred a research pack saying there were risks to puberty blockers, in spite of the fact that you aren't a medical charity and that there was already credible evidence that puberty blockers are neither irreversible nor harm-free. Meanwhile you produced your own educational packs, recommending a children's book, for ages 5-9, in which the parent 'is neither a man, nor a woman โ theyโre non-binary.' In July 2022, Stonewall sent out a tweet that read โResearch suggests that children as young as two recognise their trans identity'.
@thetimes has reported how you've sought to control the language used by NHS trusts and government on their social-media accounts. Organisations would get points from you for replacing commonly understood words with ideologically approved terms, eg, 'birthing parent' instead of 'mother'. thetimes.com/uk/society/artiโฆ
In short, you took a maximalist position on gender identity ideology, which you attempted to enforce by diktat. You refused to acknowledge that you'd hitched your wagon to a cause that, unlike civil rights, gay rights or women's rights, sought to strip rights from others. You sought to curtail everyone's right to freedom of speech and belief by controlling what it was permissible to think and say, through the management and political class. You have argued against women's and girl's rights to their own spaces, their sports and to assemble without men. Your former CEO tried to shame gay women/men into dating the opposite sex if the latter claimed to be female/male.
Your mantra was 'no debate' because, like all totalitarians, you preferred slogans, bullying and infiltration of powerful institutions to talking to opponents. You appear to have had no concern for the lowly people your ideology was harming: gender confused kids, female rape victims, female prisoners, regular people hounded and investigated at their places of work for refusing to accept the new mandates on sex and gender issued from on high.
Your 'activism' has been a disaster for those trans-identified people who really do just want to get on with their lives in peace. You have besmirched the name of an organisation many of us were once proud to donate to, the charity that was partly responsible for securing the legal right of gay people to marry, which a lot of us thought would never happen in our lifetimes. The milquetoast words quoted below do not erase a decade of gender activism that has been disastrous not only for individuals but for society as a whole.
There was once a debate to be had, but until you acknowledge the direct harm you've caused, it is no more possible to debate you than to persuade a person in the throes of a drug-induced psychosis that they are not, in fact, the reincarnated Christ.

A new road was built around electricity poles in Pakistan. Some countries just do inexplicably stupid things all the time.
In other news, Pakistan has the highest rate of consanguineous (blood relative) marriages globally, with roughly 50% to 61.2% of all marriages occurring between close relatives, primarily first cousins.

I lived in Stockholm. I lived in the house of a Holocaust survivor. Six years a prisoner in three different extermination camps. Sweden was a safe haven for many survivors, not everything went well, but it was a home for those who lost everything.
It is with sadness and outrage that I see posters in the shop windows of Stockholm as if we were in the 1930s in Nazi Germany.

Thanks for the accurate summary of my positions, though you forgot helping get Hasan Piker banned from UK.
Who paid for your visits to Iran?
Why do you think you weren't imprisoned like Lindsay & Craig Foreman?
Do you get paid for your appearances on Press TV? If so, how much?
Hi David @DavidTaylor85
You really should be careful about using your position to come after me, because once you do that, people are entitled to look at your own record.
You've gone after the BBC over my appearance and questioned why I was given a platform.
Let's look at your record.
โขYou backed the proscription of Palestine Action.
โขYou went after Francesca Albanese and opposed the renewal of her UN mandate.
โขYou've defended Labour Friends of Israel and pushed back against scrutiny of pro-Israel influence in Parliament.
โขYou've attacked the Green Party and Zack Polanski over their position on Palestine and Zionism.
โขYou even opposed parliamentary wording referring to "accusations of genocide" in relation to Israel.
And you've described Israel as a "lone beacon of democracy, freedom of speech and rule of law" in the region, while it disregards international law, refuses to work with Palestinian Arabs and kills journalists.
So forgive me if I'm not going to take lectures from you about who should or shouldn't be given a platform.
You have a very clear political position on Israel and Palestine. That's your right.
But when you then use your position as an MP to put pressure on the BBC because I was given a platform, people are entitled to ask whether this is really about "standards" or whether it's about the fact that you don't like what people like me say.
And if you want to abuse your political power to scrutinise me, I'm going to scrutinise you right back.
Hemel Hempstead should know who you REALLY are. Is the kind of MP they want representing them.

Slavery was an evil in which people from every continent and region participated. We should be honest about the whole history, not select the parts that are politically convenient today, especially given Britain's leading role in ending the transatlantic slave trade.
If Caribbean countries are asking Britain for a formal apology for Britainโs role in the transatlantic slave trade, will they also be asking the same of the descendants of African kingdoms, rulers and merchants who captured, sold and profited from the trade?
On demands for reparations, whether through cash or debt relief, we have been down this track before. Twenty-five years ago, Jubilee 2000, Drop the Debt and Make Poverty History argued that cancelling the debts of poorer countries would give them a fresh start. More than $100 billion of debt was eventually written off, but many of those countries have since built up even bigger debts. Labour are already spending too much on Britain's welfare state, now is not the time for Andy Burnham to be providing global welfare.
There is no reason British taxpayers today should be held financially responsible for things that happened generations before any of us were born. And I have even less patience for political elites in commonwealth countries who donโt know how to make their own citizens prosperous now looking for another opportunity to blame Britain.
As Prime Minister, Andy Burnham should be Britainโs greatest defender. Instead, he is writing articles saying we need to confront our history (as if we haven't done enough of that) and considering another formal historical apology. Tony Blair already expressed Britainโs deep sorrow and regret for our role in the slave trade nearly twenty years ago. There is no need to do so again.
This is all another navel-gazing distraction. The Commonwealth should be looking forward, not endlessly backwards. That means economic partnerships to make us all richer and deeper military and security cooperation against common threats. If every Commonwealth summit becomes an exercise in presenting Britain with demands for cash then we need to start asking if it is worth the effort.

The Home Office has released the list of social media posts its Standards and Compliance Unit (StaCU) observed about Prevent in 2024.
The department disclosed dozens of public posts and articles raising the same point: that Prevent training focuses heavily on the far-right while downplaying Islamist extremism.
One of the logged entries from 19 July 2024 is a post that tags @TheNorfolkLion. (Me) The author of the post (a female employee required to attend the training for work) wrote that the Home Office trainer repeatedly told the room the last terrorist attack in the UK was by a โfar right white manโ and that โFar Right is the problem.โ She noted she had done three courses in six months and ended with a facepalm emoji.
This is why my handle appears on the list. StaCU was collecting and logging public criticism of Preventโs training emphasis including posts that simply described what was being taught and questioned its balanceโฆ

A Palestinian mother from Gaza took her son to a hospital in Israel to receive life-saving treatment.
She says she would rather see him die as a martyr than die of an illness, and is willing to let Jews save his life so he can grow up and kill Jews.
She explains that Allah commands Muslims to wage jihad and become martyrs.
Unlike Jews and Christians, who mourn the death of their children, Muslims actually celebrate when their children die as martyrs because they believe Allah will reward them with paradise.
It is literally a cult of death.

David Abraham, a black Jew, boarded a bus in North London, in October 2025.
He touched the payment device with his credit card as normal, but when the Stamford Hill bus driver, Paul Lindo 60, said, โI donโt like Jews,โ he was startled and dropped his card in between the touch device and the plastic covering.
Lindo then told him how he hated Jews and locked the passenger inside the bus for more than an hour.
David videoed himself as he couldnโt believe a black man would do this to a black man. The incident was reported to police and the driver was arrested, but amazingly, the @CPSUK Crime Prosecution Service, decided NOT to pursue the case.
The NGO campaign against @antisemitism then provided David with the necessary legal backing to seek justice.
All of a sudden, the CPS changed their minds and decided to prosecute.
Lindo was charged with racially aggravated intentional harassment, for locking Jewish passenger, David Abraham aboard a bus for around an hour and making antisemitic remarks.
Lindo is due at Thames Magistrates' Court on 16th November.
Credit to Campaign Against Antisemitism for standing with victims of antisemitic abuse.
Shame on yhe @CPSUK for once again, failing to do their job and protect members of the public

If I had a pound for every time my son said he was going to tell the police about me I'd have many pounds. The idea that he could actually do so because I'd tried to persuade him not to take harmful & irreversible medication in a vain attempt to become a woman is terrifying.
