The idea that Democrats aren’t going to be just as much full of hubris is laughable. Also when any amount of confidence is viewed as hubris it means nothing as a criticism
Opinion | Texas Republicans governed with hubris, now they feel the pain expressnews.com/opinion/comm…
If I had a woman we’d enjoy dinner with the church friends tonight and go home and do whatever she wants.
The 19 million voters don’t matter. We did this once and nothing came of it. If they cheated they cheated everyone pretty much knows they do that. You aren’t going to get anywhere with that line of attack. Nobody who can change anything actually cares

🚨 BREAKING: Texas Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa fires back at Donald Trump following his warning about what would happen if she attempts to reopen the southern border.
“You cannot tell me what to do in my state. I am a Democratic governor, and I know what is best for my people. I have the interests of all Texans at heart, and I will do everything possible to be the best governor for this state. Texas is our home, and we will work to make it a peaceful place for everyone.”
Yesterday, Gina Hinojosa said her administration would work for ALL Texans, not just those who voted for her. She also outlined the next steps as she prepares to take over the governor’s office.
During her first press conference, she introduced her bipartisan transition team and explained what Texans should expect from her incoming administration.
Among the transition team members is Ernest Bailes, a former Republican state representative who opposed Governor Greg Abbott’s school voucher plan.
Hinojosa says she intends to represent the entire state, regardless of political affiliation, and work for both Democrats and Republicans.
“I will work for all Texans, irrespective of their political party, whether Democrats or Republicans. We all call Texas home.”
