I’m the Socrates of “Ulysses” readers because no one really knows what’s going on but I admit it makes no sense therefore I am the smartest reader of them all

Ahead of the curve, here. Been leaving the "cool" out of podcasting for years. This is an intentional thing I have been doing intentionally.

ALT Text from a Vanity Fair article that reads: TITLE: After the Podcast Gold Rush, Is Audio Too Corporate to Be Cool? I lived through the boom-bust cycle (celebrity deals, canceled shows), and the term podcasting is feeling dated-"almost pejorative," as Sam Sanders puts it. The Dune Quote Bot is on Mastodon if you want to keep following: botsin.space/@dune

Did some axolotl research. They’re wild
They can regrow & accept limbs and eyes from other axolotls
They can regrow everything up to parts of their own brains & hearts
They are carnivores and can be cannibals
They’re basically tiny transparent Wolverines with creepy dead eyes
US Poet Laureate Stanley Kunitz once said "poetry is the last form of uncorrupted art because it holds no market value," which is somehow both the highest honor and the deepest burn.
lol prestige. Bud, I’m almost 8 years into being a full-time podcaster and people I meet still think it’s code for “unemployed”
My wife and son got me a replica Ocarina of Time for my birthday last year and learning to play it is going well even though they describe my efforts as "extremely shrill" and "I hate that."
Basically I’m spite-learning the ocarina.
“Promote tweet” under every tweet for our @MythsAndLegends account is like Twitter is shrugging its shoulders and saying “that’s a nice post you got there…be a real shame if no one ever saw it… real shame… I’m just sayin.”
