CD Projekt and Netflix haven’t locked Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 3.
Showrunner Bartosz Sztybor said a third season is possible, but only if it clears the same quality bar as the first two.
The team has already moved on from Season 2. Any return would need a story that holds up on its own, not just fan demand or brand momentum.
So the door is open. The standard is not.

"There are a lot of stories to tell in Night City and beyond, so you never know ... there always needs to be a perfect story ... So if the stars align and will be able to create something high quality again, then yes ... But if there’s no perfect story ... then maybe it will be just two Edgerunners"
