I will need you guys to stop taking that patient seriously. She mourned a man who is very much alive on national television, talking to herself as though she were communicating with his spirit and you still to take her seriously? Please, I beg. She has her target market and we are not😭😭✋🏽. Block if you may!!

Ngwanyana ke wena @ms_ttshabalala all this because you were called a bully by someone you fancied? What do we call this that you are doing now? Is this not exactly what you were called out for? Why are we being asked to revisit an incident from 2024 when the person in question has already taken accountability? Is accountability no longer sufficient when the individual involved is someone you have a personal issue with? Must the entire country continue to punish someone indefinitely or does accountability only count when Thandeka Bully Tshabalala decide that it does? You are correct that accountability is not a popularity contest. But is it not equally true that accountability cannot be selective? Why should a man’s past be continually resurrected while the wrongdoing of women is minimised, excused or forgotten? Why should a person who has taken accountability be denied the possibility of moving forward while others are afforded grace without being subjected to the same level of public scrutiny? Can we not address GBV with the seriousness it deserves without turning it into a public campaign against someone we suddenly started to dislike? Where is the distinction between advocating for victims and using the language of advocacy to advance a personal agenda?
Replying to @Yolie909
Fans this, fans that. Are we discussing gender-based violence or conducting an audit of fan allegiances? Whether someone supported him previously does not invalidate their right to question his conduct today. People are entitled to reassess their positions, particularly when confronted with serious information. Accountability is not a popularity contest, and moral principles are not contractual obligations to a fanbase. If your response to concerns about women’s safety is to investigate who supported whom and when, then you’ve demonstrated precisely how easily the substance of this conversation gets displaced by tribal loyalties.

What I find fascinating is the selective application of moral outrage, particularly when serious social issues suddenly become convenient instruments in personal disputes. You cannot retrospectively invoke the seriousness of misconduct to discredit someone in a personal feud while conveniently overlooking the context in which you were afforded grace for your own conduct of being a transphobe. If we are to discuss serious societal crisis then let’s spread it all on the table🥹. If the seriousness of the 2024 incident warranted accountability then, it should not suddenly become a weapon to be retrieved whenever a personal disagreement arises🫩🫠. Furthermore, claiming to have felt unsafe around someone while voluntarily seeking their proximity is, well at the very least a contradiction that warrants contextual scrutiny, this one is in context to what you said on your live. GBV is a societal crisis not a convenient moral high ground to occupy whenever a personal feud requires ammunition😏 If accountability is the principle then let it be applied consistently. Otherwise what we are witnessing is not necessarily advocacy but the selective deployment of a serious cause to serve a personal agenda✋🏽🤧
I find it profoundly disturbing that I have spent much of today witnessing people defend or minimise conduct of this nature. The extent to which some are willing to rationalise it raises questions far more troubling than the incident itself. So I ask, without fear of contradiction: How seriously are we, as a society, committed to fighting gender-based violence when our standards of accountability appear so inconsistently applied? South Africa speaks passionately about fighting gender-based violence, yet I find myself increasingly fascinated by the leniency we afford men when their conduct raises serious questions about women’s safety.

The same Thandeka who gathered the girls for a meeting to discuss Bravo B? Went as far as asking why is he liked so much in the house? That he is playing SG game? That Thandeka? The one who wouldn’t miss any opportunity to gossip Bravo and nothing nice or positive she’d say about Bravo B? After her gossip sessions she’d go to him shine her teeth like she means well, That Thandeka? The same Thandeka who wrote a silly letter telling Bravo to continue playing a game with Trixie it works for him? She liked Bravo B like a brother? Okay now🫩
Thandeka Tshabalala genuinely liked u Bravo B as a brother. She defended him whn that MoTswana guy was undermining everything about him. She gv guidance without failing. Dear @bravo_b @lindo_ntsele Thandeka Tshabalala wasn't perfect bt at least she protected u when it mattered
