The Rays have only struck out one time tonight, and that's why they have all these runs

Tyrese Maxey on whether he changes his baby's diaper: "I'm a big diaper changing guy. I take pride in the speed that I'm able to change a diaper and keep her from crying. So I'm a big diaper change guy, big feed guy, big nap guy. I'm all of it, wake up in the middle of the night, go get it. I do it all man. I try to cherish these moments, cause it feel like already now she trying to crawl and do different things. So she's already moving too fast for me"
LaMelo on being a dad and whether he changes diapers: "Nah my girl do all that. It's love for sure. I definitely did it before it just not my job" 😂

I have seen some defenders of the Vivek ad cast doubt on Acton's story, using the fact that authorities didn't chase Cledith Arthur down in PA after his Ohio rape charge as evidence that it somehow wasn't a legitimate charge. This 1974 episode shows how 1970s was simply a different time with these types of crimes. Ted Bundy escaped from prison in Colorado and lived in Florida killing more women under a fake name!

NEW: I obtained the full Trumbull County file for Amy Acton's stepfather's 1974 charge which shows that he was indicted for incest involving his 16-year-old biological daughter in 1973. The sheriff was then unable to locate him to serve him a summons in the county and nothing further happened in the case. Donna Arthur, featured in Vivek Ramaswamy's still-running campaign ad, married Cledith the next year in a neighboring county.
Here you go - Amy Acton's stepfather's 1974 indictment for incest in the Youngstown Vindicator

Really must be quite depressing to be a serious actor & spend most of your time being forced into silly content gimmicks. Just endlessly banal shtick. Can only applaud Seydoux for refusing to eat a stale croissant for Instagram giggles

Malcolm Gladwell is a fucking fraud and has made a career and millions just spewing bullshit that falls apart if you have a working brain or decide to lightly fact-check him. A phenomenally stupid man and grifter.
I have just published a piece that is very important to me. It's about why so many "progressives" and people on "the left" are lying to us right now about crime, safety, and repression, and what we should be doing instead. equalityalec.substack.com/p/…

This Brewers team is far and away the best team of the 2020s

It was 16 whiffs, actually, and a team whiffed at 16 pitches or less in 2,232 games over the course of this season and the playoffs. baseballsavant.mlb.com/statc…
How is this possible? During last night's World Series Game 3 on October 26, 2026, the Milwaukee Brewers saw 175 pitches and only swung and missed 13 times. The odds of this occurring in a modern Major League Baseball game are incredibly slim, reflecting an elite contact rate of roughly 92.6% on swings. In today's high-velocity, high-spin environment, a typical MLB team averages a whiff rate of about 24% to 26% per game. Holding a Major League pitching staff to just 13 total swinging strikes over 175 pitches is a statistical anomaly, demonstrating a hyper-disciplined approach at the plate that propelled them to a dominant 10-1 victory over the Rays.

This right handed heavy pull alignment with two outs & runners on 1B & 2B makes it tough to get the force at 2B. It was especially true on this GB into the 5.5 hole with Caminero having to make a 360 spin to throw. Credit Yelich for going hard & sliding late to beat the force. It lead to 8 two out runs. If you play heavy pull with a RHH hitting, you need to have a backside catcher’s pick in the playbook where the first baseman breaks on the pitch. That way a jab step or two by the 1st baseman when not picking may force the runner at 1st to retreat. At worst it may control his primary lead some. Tough to beat teams that run the bases aggressively & intelligently.
