A German Wehrmacht soldier prepares the launch of a Goliath or Sd.Kfz. 303 a small tracked demolition vehicle during the Warsaw Uprising in Poland 1944.
The Goliath was capable of carrying 60 to 100 kilograms of explosives directly to targets such as tanks, bunkers, or enemy defensive positions.
It would be detonated remotely via a wire-guided system through a cable reel at the rear of the vehicle.
