Doing "exercise snacks" every 45-60 minutes beats a single 30-minute walk for lowering blood glucose after a meal.
Even when total activity time is the same, distributing it throughout the day makes a difference.
Your muscles help clear glucose from the bloodstream, and repeatedly putting them to work appears to matter. Vigorous exercise is especially good for this.
How often you move deserves attention alongside how much you move, especially for those who work a desk job and sit for most of the day.

You can’t stop aging…
But you can slow it down... and in some cases, even reverse the damage.
Here are the 7 most effective strategies to reverse aging from the inside out: 🧵

Your genes are the piano.
Your lifestyle is the piano player.
Food isn’t just fuel, it’s information. Every bite you eat sends messages to your genes through your epigenome, turning pathways on or off, impacting inflammation, immunity, detoxification, even aging.
Most people know about vitamins and minerals. But there’s a missing piece in the nutrition conversation: Phytochemicals! 🌿 Plant compounds that help your body function at its best.
Where do you find them?
🫐 Deeply pigmented fruits (like berries)
🥦 Colorful vegetables (think red, orange, purple, green)
🌾 Ancient grains like Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat
🍋 Bitter, wild, and astringent plants
We don’t get diseases like cancer, dementia, or heart disease overnight…wget them from decades of missing the inputs our genes expect.
Want to change your biology? Start with what’s on your plate.

Be the friend who makes taking care of yourself feel normal. Order the vegetables. Suggest the walk. Leave early when you’re tired. Give the people around you permission to do the same.

No negotiating with your lazy self. Sure, rest and recovery as needed. But don’t deliberate unnecessarily. Action. @jockowillink
Stop negotiating with yourself when the alarm goes off:
The alarm goes off and there is no debate. No negotiating. Sort of robotic - the thing goes off and you do what you're supposed to do.
Then go work out. Break a sweat and you will feel better and you will get energy from it. That is a guarantee.
The only way it goes the other direction is going psycho hard: lift, run, surf and jujitsu in the same day. That is not a normal day.

Eat real, whole foods for a few weeks and you’ll realize just how toxic our food environment has become.
Once you feel the difference, there’s no going back. You’ll never look at food the same way again.
We’ve become a society of sick, addicted, compulsive consumers of junk food.
And it shows.

THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO DISCOVER
THIS SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT CLOVES
1. Cloves aren't a spice-they're a biochemical cheat code. With 300x the antioxidants of blueberries, they trigger a full-body detox most people pay thousands for.
2. Soak 4 cloves overnight, drink on an empty stomach. By Day 3 bloating vanishes; by Day 14, hidden inflammation markers silently plummet.
3. Never drink it alone. Stacking clove with cinnamon and lemon creates a metabolic synergy that accelerates fat-burning and blood-sugar control.
4. Stop using chemical mouthwash. Clove water destroys bad-breath bacteria at the root while healing bleeding gums within 72 hours.
5. Eugenol in cloves activates digestive enzymes that boost nutrient absorption by 50%, turning your food into pure cellular fuel instead of stored fat.
6. Drink it before bed for a hidden advantage. It naturally spikes melatonin while your liver undergoes a deep overnight detox flush.

If you use sauna or hot-water immersion after aerobic or resistance training, sooner may be better than several hours later.
Immediately after exercise, body temperature, blood flow, anabolic signaling, and cardiovascular demand are already elevated. Moving directly into passive heat effectively "extends" that physiology.
The optimal timing hasn’t been established in head-to-head studies, but I think a sensible default is ~30 minutes or less.

If you sit for work, set a timer for every 30 to 45 minutes.
When it goes off:
Do 10 squats.
Walk up a flight of stairs.
Stretch your hips.
Take 20 deep breaths.
A workout cannot completely undo a day without movement.
