I don't like to overhype loan players but Matias Orozco looks the real deal. The Colombian stood out with three assists for Castellón in a week full of strong performances by Albion loan players.

Speaking to @CParkerTurner, Brighton’s former Head of Football Operations David Burke revealed ex-manager Oscar Garcia rejected the chance to sign Harry Kane:
“He felt Kane was too much like Leo Ulloa. There were only about four players available that suited the way we were going to be playing.
“Tim Sherwood said he'd like him to come to Brighton for a season because of the way we played, and I think Garcia ended up taking Leroy Lita from Swansea.”

Ratings from Anfield.
Not as positive about that display as others. Seemed unusually unsettled early on and gave ourselves a lot to do as a result.
A goal would’ve made things interesting, of course, but it didn’t truly feel like it was coming.
Capable of better, as we’ve shown already this season. More testing contests await.

A disappointing display from the Seagulls. Jablonec will certainly feel they should have taken all three points.
Bart Verbruggen spared the Albion’s blushes. There’s talent within this Conference League rotational side, but plenty of rawness and wasteful tendencies too.
