BTS: My original concept for the Halo TV Show video was going to be based around The Evil Dead and the soulless possession of one IP by an evil Entity. Full story of why this ultimately had to be scrapped is on the Patreon, but the art was fun. What almost was.

Ehh, the new Plague Tale game isn’t really doing it for me. I really liked that these were stealth games and this pivot to parryslop melee combat isn’t as captivating to me. Bummer. Maybe Dawnwalker or MGS4 next?

Sony:
An update from PlayStation Studios: After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to step away from collaborating with KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS on its project PHYSINT. We continue to have great admiration for Hideo Kojima's vision for the game. Our relationship remains strong after three decades of industry-leading, genre-defining creative cooperation, and we look forward to continued close collaboration with Hideo Kojima and his award-winning independent studio in the future.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
PlayStation's statement presents the PHYSINT split as a mutual "step away" after careful consideration with future collaboration expected. Kojima stated PlayStation unexpectedly notified cancellation in mid-June 2026, forcing a 3-month search for a new partner (Xbox). kotaku.com/xbox-swoops-in… variety.com/2026/gaming/ne…

Just finished Onimusha: Way of the Sword and it's pretty great, but they definitely stretched a great 12 hour game into a still good but thoroughly compromised 25+ hour game. The combat slaps and the characters are really fun, but GOOD LORD the boss recycling is EGREGIOUS.

We need to mature past this idea that we can’t criticize capitalism otherwise we’re communists or satanists or whatever. News Flash: the pursuit of profit above all else leads to nickel and diming, cutting corners, and minimum viability products. Duh. Let’s be adults.

The problem with statements like this is that it sounds like you want to move away from capitalism, which is objectively the best system in the world for lifting people out of abject poverty. Socialism or communism are the only other options which is concerning.

What are we fucking doing here, guys?
"If it could be done, then it would have been done by now" Meanwhile not a single super hero game was given the chance; like, are we not going to talk about this...

No, that’s capitalism
You are the reason game devs won’t take risk and experiment

Superhero games solved level design decades ago. Just have the Green Goblin release toxic gas into the sky that kills you instantly if you go too high up.

β€œbut the flying was the best part of β€œ[insert mediocre title]” I’ve played these. Flying is only β€œfun” in these games because they provide a break from the rest of the terrible game that surrounds it. Games that suck IN PART because they have to be designed around flying.
