Our requests are eminently reasonable, shared by leaders of both parties. I'll return this letter to @SenateMajLdr with the same requests.

System online. Rebuilding, then adding a hot spare. I can't decide if that drive is dying or not.
"Oh GOD why aren't the drives showing up?, I'm going to have to open it" *realizes that the drives are on the desk still* "Oh. Right. Hotswap."
Or maybe 40TB SSDs will halve in price. At my current usage rate, I'll hit that in about 3 years. It'd be really nice to just have two drives (1 + mirror). Or maybe a raid 5 of SSDs, something that could finally max out my network.
I'm going to start a slow migration to 16TB after this (unless 20/24 TB drives become a thing before my next drive swap, PFFT). Replacing the 8TB ones. I won't get any use out of them until I have 5, but dropping 3 spinning rust drives would make it worthwhile.
All 3 converters in. 12 total hot-swap 3.5 bays (9 in use). Cabling hacked into place. Next step: make sure that all drives are working before booting up and letting mdadm do its thing.
Between the dremel, a pair of wire cutters, a pair of needle-nose pliers, a lot of vulgarity, and forcing the wrong screws in, I now have 2 of the 3 new bays in place.
I'm worried about Skeletor's crushing disappointment from not being Jim Fucking Sterling Son.

Okay, fuck it, I've given up on the Dremel altogether and am now just slowly breaking plastic with wire snips and needle-nose pliers.
"Okay, I'll just move this around a bit to get ready to cut"... and the plastic snaps.
I thought I had just lost the Dremel itself, but the box I thought had the rest of the kit? Magic cards. Which are spectacularly useless with a Dremel. I swear I had this thing after I moved, but it's not in any of the boxes.
New Dremel received - time to cut open some computer cases.

I have, apparently, eaten my Dremel kit and label maker.

Sentence I didn't expect to read today: "Is becoming a woman analogous, in some deep psychological way, to becoming a werewolf?"
DocumentDB isn't a perfect MongoDB clone yet, and can't be until it's just as good at trashing your production data.

QuickSight will find product/market fit just as soon as it comes up with a better marketing story than "Like Tableau, But Shitty."

Brown Jenkins (the rat from Dreams in the Witch-House) would no longer snub my apartment for being too filthy, but would still feel disgusted by my bathroom.

There's a movie called "13 Ghosts", made in 1960. The tagline is "IT'S FUN TO BE SCARED BY 13 GHOSTS". I cannot get that thing out of my head.

If ghosts in horror movies can move physical objects, why not just build an arrow out of junk pointing them to where they should go? Or a flaming arrow? I can only assume they're all assholes.
