They say that #teamwork makes the dream work. That's something here at #theenglishcontractor we know to be true. We often highlight the crew in the field, but the team in the office works together like a well-oiled machine. Follow along this week to meet them for yourself.

Our 4th W of home winterization is Windows! Add weather stripping around windows and doors if they are drafty. Now's a great time to order replacement windows for a springtime project. ow.ly/RmIL50GNBoE #cincinnati #bespokeremodel #homemaintenancetips

Our third winter tip is about wind warnings! Check your home for loose siding and shingles and make those repairs before they lead to bigger issues. ow.ly/GjHw50GNB1A

To all those who served their country, we thank you for your service and your sacrifice that have given us today's peace. #veteransday #remembranceday

Sometimes, the team meets to review current projects. Sometimes, we have an afternoon tea. Other times, we get an English lesson. You can take the contractor out of England, but you can't take the England out of #TheEnglishContractor. #cincinnati #custombuilder #howtospeakbrit

If its feeling just as cold and blustery inside your house as it is outside, you should give us a call. We're certified installers for @TheMarvinBrand windows.

We spend a fair amount of time in older homes. And as much as we love vintage detail, these spaces often don't have the storage space that a modern family needs. Enter The English Contractor carpenters, ready to design and craft custom storage solutions.

Sure, it's #tiletuesday -- but we'd say that this tile has some pretty good competition in this shower. Look at those fixtures! There's some clean living going on in this home, thanks to this spectacular shower.

The day after Halloween probably isn't the day to jump onto the bathroom scale. But who can pay attention to those numbers in a bathroom as beautiful as this one. #theenglishcontractor #bathroomremodel #bespokeremodel #cincinnati

It's November 1st. Raise your hand if you spent your Halloween last night opening and closing your front door. We're working on a historic remodel where the homeowners are including the home's original front door into their design. #theenglishcontractor #bespokeremodel

Another week of hard work building homes all over Cincinnati is in the books. Now we're ready to kick up our heels because the weekend is finally here! Happy Friday!

When we're managing a renovation of an older home, it's not just the selections of the shiny, new fixtures that we love, but also the older details that we uncover in the process.

Who doesn't love a field trip!?! It's not just about the selections in building a custom home. The tools we use are just important. Craig Russell took a trip to @SencoBrands to see what's new. Looks like we might need a bigger tool box. #tools #construction #bespokeremodel

Work In Progress We see a lot of tile in our line of work. This bathroom renovation is using one of our favorites--the classic marble hex. We love the variation I color with this natural stone. It's always in style. #tiletuesday @TheTileShop

After months of working in this back yard to prepare the site for building, we are finally doing just that. It seems unfair to call this a porch. It's so much more. Even at the framing stage, we can tell this will be a masterpiece with a view to match. #cincinnati #bespokeremodel

This powder room is small, but appears bright and airy with a grey and white color palette. The real star of the show, though, is the corner stink--a brilliant addition for this space. 📷 @tsgcincinnati @rvp_photo @signaturehardware

Our love for subway tile is strong. It's a favorite of The English Contractor customers\. We love it's versatility because there are so many ways to make this simple tile reflect each homeowner's own style. 📷 @tsgcincinnati @rvp_photo

Our fearless leader is wiping the sleep from his eyes as we prepare for another busy week. See what we've been up to on the website. ow.ly/2ywe50GsZUM #theenglishcontractor #cincinnati #kitcheremodel #bespokeremodel #homeimprovement
