You've got football people at Manchester United that wake up every day and tell their families that they're going to work.
🚨 | BREAKING:
Michael Carrick is set to remain in charge of #mufc vs Bournemouth.
Club say ‘business as usual’.
[@samuelluckhurst]
🚨 | JUST IN:
Eddie Howe, Antonio Conte and Julian Naglesmann are all interested in managing #mufc.
Unai Emery and Fabian Hurzeler are highly rated at #mufc but it would be difficult to lure them away from their current clubs.

🚨 | JUST IN: #mufc's shortlist to replace Michael Carrick:
- Eddie Howe
- Kieran McKenna
- Antonio Conte
- Fabian Hurzeler
- Julian Nagelsmann
[@ChrisWheelerDM]
Fucking hell, he's smart for that.
BREAKING: Fabian Hürzeler is not interested in leaving Brighton for Manchester United.
Hürzeler one of the names appreciated in case Michael Carrick departs.
Julian Nagelsmann also viewed as one of the leading contenders.
More on @talkSPORT.

Conte at United would be cinema.
Half the squad would be crawling off the training pitch after a week of his fitness drills, and he'd be at full blown war with Wilcox and Ratcliffe by the second transfer window because they'd spent six months negotiating for a wing-back while he was asking for three first-team players.
We'd be 1-0 up against some relegation side, defending a corner in the 82nd minute, and somehow still concede because nobody can mark the near post. Conte would lose his fucking mind in the presser, call Wilcox and Ratcliffe c**ts for leaving him with a squad full of players who can't defend set pieces, and get sacked in the first week of February after they refuse to back him in the January window.
Then we'd appoint some interim and finish 4th.
Heritage.
🚨 | @FabrizioRomano on the manager he expects to get linked with the #mufc job if Michael Carrick departs:
"I’m sure there will be 3 names strongly linked with the #mufc job if becomes available.
Antonio Conte, who is ready to take a job mid-season and that’s a big difference to what he’s always done. For sure Antonio Conte is a name that will get linked.
Julian Nagelsmann is a coach that INEOS considered in the past, but he was under contract and he decided to continue with the German national team. He’s now free, so let’s see if INEOS return for him or not.
Fabian Hurzeler is doing fantastic at Brighton and Manchester United have somebody on their board who really appreciates him. That’s it and he’s completely focused on Brighton.
Eddie Howe is free and an English coach that knows the league well. He’s a completely different character to all the others. Another name that will get linked to #mufc."
🚨 | Eddie Howe is the FAVOURITE for the #mufc job. He is admired within Old Trafford, and Howe would be interested in the role as he wants to return to the Premier League as SOON as possible. [@reluctantnicko]

I once again repeat, we have footballers at Manchester United who wake up every day and tell their families that they're going to work.
This club is unsaveable.
It's over.
There's no hope left.
I don't know why we keep believing when the club itself has given up.
Every time you think we've finally hit rock bottom, this club somehow finds a way to dig even deeper.
I'm tired of believing in a turnaround that never comes. Tired of watching a club with so much history, pride, and potential turn itself into an absolute embarrassment.
How much more are we supposed to take? How many more seasons are we supposed to sacrifice? How many more times are we supposed to convince ourselves that things will get better?
