Greetings from Copenhagen tonight

Can’t wait to spin some records back in Copenhagen tomorrow, my place of birth and where it all started musically for me

And so we’ve reached the autumn holidays 🙏 Celebrating with Lou Donaldson who has been cooking a rather egg-cellent Sunny Side Up for @bluenoterecords

Fancy a bit of disco edit action? Perhaps the October edition of the Eclectic Corner can be of assistance, it’s now available to stream: mixcloud.com/MartinTHC/eclec…

One of the finest jazz musicians working today, Muriel Grossmann, this is Union.

There’s a brilliant volume two available in the Histoire De Coeur series documenting Lost French Synth-Pop 7s & Euro-Bombs 1985-88. Just sayin’

Eddie Gale’s Black Rhythm Happening @bluenoterecords lifting the spirit today

Lovely stuff as always from the mighty @realjahwobble - this is Dub Volume 1

Arrival day

Basic Unit’s Timeline is hereby on your ditto

And we’re off for the remainder 🥳

Anyone else on the floor pile tip this fine Sunday?

Ahmad Jamal in all his funky electric piano splendour in 1973

We’re heading to Africa for the November edition of the Eclectic Corner @MadWaspRadioMWR - an afro-funk, beat, disco feast to heat up your living room, kitchen or wherever you’re getting your monthly dose of my record collection

One of the best vocal house tracks of recent years if you ask me - which of course you didn’t :) in any case this is Ghost Assembly’s I Miss Your Love - kind of track that could be reissued by @darkentriesrecs in some far flung future :)

唐獅子牡丹, Akira Miyazawa - pure Japanese Morricone / Nino Rota inspired funky grooves from start to finish. I know I’ve posted this before but it’s just too good to miss. Reissue on King Records

I trust you’re good to go when the Eclectic Corner grooves out @MadWaspRadioMWR tonight at 7pm BST. Oh such vibes in which to indulge

The October Eclectic Corner is upon us and goes out @MadWaspRadioMWR tonight at 7pm BST. I’ve got a delicious three 12s menu lined up for your discerning ears and feet. Ingredients provided by Pete Blaker

If you’re in the mood for a dose of classic dubstep, you could consider tuning in to @KAAAATE22’s Dark Train show tonight. We (dub)step out from UFO Central (Warminster Community Radio) y MINERVA Radio at 2200 BST//1800 ART. Hope you can join us!
