I've been tracking Department of Defense medical evacuation missions tied to Operation EPIC FURY and subsequent "Overseas Operations." I've finally visualized the data and this is what it shows 👇👇👇 1/

Let me clear up some common misconceptions regarding Starlinkand Starshield. 1. As of October 21, Starlink's Terms of Service do not impose a blanket prohibition on military use, although its incorporated Acceptable Use Policy restricts military activities and drone operations without appropriate authorization. Given Ukraine's extensive and publicly acknowledged military use of Starlink over several years, it stretches credulity to suggest that SpaceX was unaware of or had not acquiesced to at least some military applications. It is also striking that the disruption coincided with disagreements over Ukraine's policy of targeting Russian refineries and data centers, as well as Musk's tweet that "This has gone too far." 2. While the Pentagon exercises operational authority over U.S.-procured Starshield services, SpaceX owns and operates the underlying Starlink network and infrastructure on which certain Starshield services depend. The precise division of technical and contractual authority remains disputed. 3. SpaceX does not provide Starlink and Starshield services to Ukraine for free. Ukraine, Poland, and Germany pay for Starlink terminals and subscriptions, while Starshield is supplied through U.S. government contractual arrangements. SpaceX is a commercial defense contractor being paid to provide critical military communications services, not a charitable benefactor. Its unilateral restriction of contracted services, if established, could constitute a breach of contract and could expose SpaceX to considerable liability. 4. Full service has not been restored. Ukrainian officials continue to report operational restrictions affecting Starlink and/or Starshield services. 5. Starlink is not the only satellite communications platform available or being developed. Alternatives include Eutelsat OneWeb, GOVSATCOM, and the planned European IRIS2 constellation, although these are not yet complete substitutes for Starlink's capabilities. Nevertheless, they do indicate a willingness to look beyond SpaceX as a provider of these services.

This supports earlier reporting that the purpose of CIA Director Ratcliffe's August visit to Moscow was to warn Russia against continuing such actions and followed a rise in incidents across Europe that has continued to increase to present day. The collective European response has been strongly worded statements and occasionally increasing the defensive posture. Aides for German Chancellor Merz have said that NATO's Article 5 would've been "considered" if the failed attack resulted in large numbers of casualties. Putin is obviously terrified.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Russian-backed attacks against Germany’s Leipzig-Halle Airport weeks ago was the beginning of a wider upscaled campaign of both hybrid and direct attacks against NATO and EU nations ordered directly by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Per the report, which cites European intelligence officials, the Lewis becoming increasingly dissatisfied with lacking efforts on the ground and U.S.-brokered negotiations with Ukraine that have yet to merit the outcome President Putin wants.

Instead of getting a prisoner, Putin got a waiver on the Lindsey Graham Act sanctions. And those who criticized his decision to waive the sanctions on Russia have already begun calling to apologize, 12 minutes later🙄. While not a body-for-body swap, I would say that waiving the imposition of sanctions up to 500% is far more valuable. Besides, we don't have anyone Putin wants.
BREAKING: Stephen Hubbard is heading home after President Trump personally asked Putin for his release—without a prisoner swap, Trump said, contrasting the result with the Biden administration’s failed negotiations.

Authorities in Toledo held a press conference regarding the hazardous materials incident at MC Tank Terminal Per the authorities: - An explosion occurred in a 5,500 gallon chemical tank storing an unknown quantity of liquid glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) at approximately 930pm local time last night. - The only injury reported so far is a first responder who was injured during the response. - Approximately 1,000 residents have been evacuated. - 3 mile shelter in place remains in effect. - Potential for explosion still exists so first responders are staying clear. This will be re-evaluated at 930am local. GMA is an industrial compound used in coatings and adhesives. It’s an eye, skin and lung irritant with long-term cancer concerns, and its main storage hazard is reacting on its own and building heat, which in a confined space can lead to explosions. This chemical is very similar in nature, though a bit less volatile, than the recent incident in Garden Grove, CA in May.
A chemical leak in north Toledo, Ohio, is reducing visibility on roadways across the area. An evacuation order is in effect for the area outlined in red.

A hazardous chemical is continuing to leak from a facility in Toledo, OH this morning resulting in a 1 mile evacuation area (orange) and 3 mile shelter in place area (yellow) for the surrounding area. The leak appears to be coming from a shipping container at a trucking company. The chemical involved is described as an irritant, and is being trapped low to the ground by a layer of dense fog blanketing the region.
BREAKING 🚨🚨 #Toledo / #Ohio New video of the Toxic Chemical incident and giant plume of smoke covering much of Toledo tonight. Evacuation zones and shelter in place areas stretching multiple miles from incident site are in place.

"We haven't pulled anything back. There are terms of service that need to be complied to..." First, no one knew what happened or why Ukrainian Starshield assets were suddenly throttled. Now it was apparently due to violations of the terms of service.
Hegseth suggests Ukrainians haven't abided by Starlink's "terms of service"

A pillar of the Iranian strategy all along has been to simply outlast US will to maintain pressure. If they can make conditions untenable, by attacking bases and ships, all the better.
Senior Iranian officials told Reuters Tehran is deliberately dragging out negotiations with the goal to deny Trump a win before the Nov. 3 midterms, while preparing for renewed U.S. and Israeli strikes.

This reporting confirms that the Makin Island ARG will be going to CENTCOM/5th Fleet area in addition to the Theodore Roosevelt CSG, temporarily increasing force posture in the region to 3 CSGs and 2 ARGs. Both the Bush and Boxer departed in March and would be ~8 months into their deployment with a ~4 week transit home when the Theodore Roosevelt and Makin Island arrive, making it likely that this is relief rather than supplemental forces. Thanks to @WarshipCam for the spots.
Per @Liz_Friden The U.S. is sending the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Middle East, two U.S. officials confirm to Fox News. The ships will arrive in the Middle East by the end of November, the officials said. These new deployments will add about 10,000 Sailors and Marines to the Middle East. The USS Roosevelt will be the third aircraft carrier in the Middle East, joining the USS George H.W. Bush which arrived to the region in April, and the USS George Washington which arrived in mid-August to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln. This will provide more options for the U.S. as President Trump is reportedly considering ramping up strikes on Iran after the Midterms.  The USS Roosevelt departed its home port of San Diego on Sunday and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit deployed from San Diego on Monday along with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group. The Marine Expeditionary Unit and Amphibious Ready Group typically include about 4,200 Marines and Sailors. The USS Roosevelt carrier strike group includes about 6,000 Sailors.

SecDef on the way home. #AE1468 as RCH4209
SecDef was on one of these USAF C-17s that departed JB Andrews yesterday, likely in the roll on conference capsule (ROCC), a secure pod made to transport senior VIPs into more austere locations.

According to @BarakRavid of Axios, during an unannounced visit, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth visited Israel today and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. While details on what was discussed during the meeting have yet to come out, the meeting comes just a week prior to Israeli elections, a potential renewal of joint U.S.-Israeli large scale strikes on Iran, and U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s endorsement of Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Russia is "fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much." Meanwhile, what Russia did earlier today ⬇️
Trump says that Russia “frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much." Notably, a Russian strike on a park in Ukraine's Kharkiv Oblast today killed six people, including three children.
