Prevent the cancellation of the beloved BBC show, DIY SOS. Don’t allow them to pretend they are only ‘resting’ the show just to avoid a negative backlash from viewers and all the trades who make the show so special. c.org/9Qdt4jmfgg via @UKChange
So @BBC have said if #DIYSOS comes back it won’t be whole houses or charity buildings but at cheaper scale. The chinless wonders who run the BBC probably don’t watch the show as it’s working class people (trades) helping working class families. Come on @andyburnham get stuck in!

Terrible news. We first met in a bar 30 yrs ago. We talked wine (he had bought a vineyard). After an hour I finally realised who he was. We swapped messages recently and he was cancer free so this is a shock. Warm, funny, self deprecating and such a talent. RIP #SamNeil 😢
