I may be mentally deteriorating but I am absolutely loving Darconville’s Cat. Theroux is really one upping Nabokov, Pynchon, and McCarthy. The book is better when you read it like Donald Sutherland’s character in Little Murders. Truly the KillTony of its time.
Although Knoxville bringing up HARD TICKET TO HAWAII only to rank it below SAMURAI COP is bittersweet and disappointing.

It's the spooky season, so for our first 'Kari Adjacent' bonus episode @pomattovich & I intrepidly stepped into GHOSTS CAN'T DO IT, in which the disembodied head of Anthony Quinn lusts after Bo Derek as they conspire to murder someone and steal his body.
This October my best discovery was learning that Peter Carey - yeah, the guy who wrote ILLYWHACKER - did the screenplay for DEAD END DRIVE-IN.
Really digging the @letterboxd October-themed "bone" font and would petition that they keep it up year-round.
