Adults have important roles to play in providing support to young people. Positive connections w/ adults can protect youth from many risk behaviors & negative health outcomes. These connections can also assist young people as they develop & transition to young adulthood. #NAHM

May is #NationalAdolescentHealthMonth! Adolescent health involves many aspects of health and well-being, including sexual and reproductive health, mental health, community support, and the role of caring adults.
Recognizing that someone has multiple marginalized identities doesn't make your work #intersectional. That just states the obvious. We have to go deeper and look at how systems of oppression impact people's lived experiences and how we may contribute to these systems.
