Supernatural shit, set in the 1950s? Sign me TF up!
We are back
Everything We Know About Other Worlds: A Stranger Things Adventure:
Set in Marion, Nevada, in April 1955 — before Stranger Things and before The First Shadow
Same universe, with all-new heroes and villains
Filming in New Mexico; production starts in 2027
Co-created by Kate Trefry (Stranger Things writer since Season 2, and writer of The First Shadow) and the Duffer Brothers — Trefry is the showrunner
Joe Wright (Atonement, Darkest Hour) directs the first 3 episodes
Executive producers include the Duffers (Upside Down Pictures), Shawn Levy (21 Laps), Paul Dichter, Shelley Meals, Andrea Sperling and Pavlina Hatoupis
Premieres in 2028 on Netflix
The Duffers: "It's Stranger Things, but also thrillingly fresh, with a new setting, new heroes and villains… Now, on to casting. In the meantime — watch the skies, nerds!"
Casting is next. Who do you want to see in 1955 Marion?
53 year old here. I was the Attitude Era target audience and I LOVED it.
A lot of it has also not aged well.
Both things can be true.
"A LOT of the Monday Night Wars period hasn’t aged well"
No, it aged great. The reason why people like you keep repeating his lie is that YOU were NOT the target audience for that era.
MNW was dominated by 18-34 men unlike today's feminine modern fanbase. You have to tear down the era before you because it was never FOR you...
Guys, no one is more critical of AEW's nonsense than I am. How am I the one defending the ridiculousness of Okada bringing a leaf blower into the cage at B&Gs? Its creative as hell and hilarious
The sooner people like this realize that it wasn't just the money. WCW had genuine, drawing stars on its roster and a core storyline that drew viewers in every week. AEW is good, but until they have both of those components, it's second place. Which is in this race, is still a good place to be.
So we managed to narrowly dodge a bullet on the flooding. But we were completely landlocked for 2 days. I've been in Florida for 50+ years and I've only seen it this bad, once or twice
Kind of cool when I see a match finish and I know which producer helped put that together.
Excellent execution by 2 incredible talents
Tina: "Do you know anything about Pride and Predjudice?"
Me: "Not much, I know there's Zombies in it"
Tina: "Not that one!"
We have the best relationship
this is amazing
