Kathleen Kennedy has been tapped to replace Peter Rice as Head of Ceremonies and Content for LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Kennedy will help shape the opening and closing ceremonies for both games.

Bob Iger was named the 2026 PAC NYC Icon of Culture last night.
• Iger was honored by Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro, David Muir, Robin Roberts, Nick Jonas, and Michael Bloomberg.
• Mickey Mouse conducted an orchestra through a sweeping rendition of “Fantasmic!” while visuals celebrated Disney’s various franchises.
• Austin Scott and Isaiah Johnson performed “One Last Time" from HAMILTON. (ONE LAST TIME is the title of Iger's new memoir).
• Bradley Gibson performed “Seize the Day” from NEWSIES, Anastascia McCleskey performed “This Is Me” from THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, Adam Jacobs performed “Proud of Your Boy” from ALADDIN, and Charissa Hogeland performed “Let It Go” from FROZEN.
• Ariana DeBose and Benj Pasek & Justin Paul also performed as well.
• Rufus Wainwright closed the event with “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Disney’s PINOCCHIO.
This was the spot occupied by The Beach Boys and Stamos has been performing with them. But since all original members except Mike Love are gone..sounds like Love wants his band name back
