Don’t know how Cito Gaston has been bounced from this ballot for Joe Maddon. Cito and his Blue Jays won back to back WS titles in 1992-93. First African-American skipper to win WS. His players still swear by his leadership qualities. Needs to be in. Felipe Alou also.
The Contemporary Baseball Era ballot features four managers and four executives for consideration in the Hall of Fame Class of 2027.
Results will be announced at 8 p.m. ET on Dec. 6: ow.ly/UjVe5102Z6Q

Sesame Workshop mourns the loss of Sir Patrick Stewart. Thank you for being our friend and for sharing your brilliance, joy, and kindness with the world. 💛💚

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
Nooo! Not Picard 😭 RIP Patrick Stewart :(

This is a very unusual and touching portrait of Braeden Chow, the young man who might've caused some ballot confusion and who ran the majority of his campaign unhoused. Gift link here: thestar.com/gift-redeem?t=2e…

The City of Toronto just extended hours at 11 voting places blogto.com/city/2026/10/hour…
Driving in Toronto this a.m., I saw more street and watermain improvements happening in real time and w minimum disruption. Olivia has been all over this after a decade of neglect. She should get a full second term before we go back to the same old visionless stagnation. #TOpoli
