Today, we bid farewell to a team of young Somali engineers and geologists from the Somali Petroleum Authority (SPA) who are departing for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to undertake specialized Safety and Emergency Training in preparation for their participation in Somalia’s offshore petroleum exploration program.
Somalia advances its offshore exploration activities, ensuring that our professionals are equipped with internationally recognized safety standards and emergency preparedness skills is essential. This training will strengthen the capacity of Somali experts to contribute safely and effectively to the development of our petroleum sector.
We wish the team a successful training program and look forward to their return as they prepare to play an important role in this historic phase of Somalia’s energy journey.
