Been having one of the best performances with trading of my life. 100% winning days. It was pretty rough when I originally switched to only live account. I was risking 10k a trade and trading every day… my psych couldn’t handle that coming from just fundeds before and small live accounts. I’ve made more money with fundeds but it’s totally different. Prop firms accounts are cyclical. You have a huge month and then you have a month passing accounts and building them. Live accounts are slow growth.
I decided to halve my risk and decrease my trade frequency significantly to improve my live account psych. Strategy hasn’t changed, but I’ve been trusting my gut feeling more than ever when it comes to picking what days not to trade. Although I’m not making as much as I planned going into the live account. I’ve never felt more at peace with trading. I feel as if it has zero control of my life. I trade when it’s convenient now rather than living my life when it’s convenient. I’ve spent the last 2 months traveling and trading the days where I can really sit down and do my thing. I’ll soon be upping my risk slightly and continuing to build my account. No red days has definitely been messing with my psych. I feel the impending doom haha. But It’ll be a breath of fresh air when I lose.

Can anyone remove YouTube strikes? Specifically community guideline strikes.
I was posting daily live trading sessions on YouTube for about a month and here and there some videos would get taken down. Often appeals would get approved while some would get rejected and ultimately my YouTube ended up with 2 strikes. I never promoted anything in the video or made promises to viewers. I’d simply trade and talk about life.
I have friends who post the same exact style videos, same titles and everything, and they don’t get taken down. Not sure why my account gets targeted.

I don’t even mark shit out on my charts anymore except where my take profit is.
Look at the difference in my charts 2+ years ago vs now.
There’s been several instances where I’ve woken up on the weekends and pulled up the charts thinking the market was open.
My thought process going into this morning. This is how I use 5m/15m FVGs to determine the next DOL. Going to drop a YouTube video on this soon.

The day you realize that everyone sees the markets differently, and there’s no such thing as the “best strategy” is the day you actually master the markets.
The “best strategy” is the one that statistically performs positive, but more importantly, aligns with your psychology.
It should make sense to you technically and logically.
You should be able to explain it without trading terms.
You have to ask yourself certain questions such as:
How many trades do I want to be taking a day?
What sessions do I want to trade?
Do I want high win rate and low rr… or do I want high rr and low win rate?
How long do I want to be in trades?
(This list can go on for a while)
The point is, different strategies suit different traders. Find what makes sense TO YOU.

Anytime I post red days, I see people get so confused on how is someone that’s been trading for 10+ years have red days…
And it makes me think of how so many people have the wrong idea of trading.
Every single trader, has red days. It’s inevitable. The best of the best have red days. They’re in drawdown. They go in tilt too. They take stupid trades as well.
It happens to us all.
The difference is how they respond to red days and how they manage their risk during those times.
That’s what separates the pros from the amateurs.
