If you’re hurting, Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-30).

It’s OK to not know what to do. It’s fine that you don’t have the answers.
While it may not seem to be the case, God has a plan, and it’s perfect. Trust in Him. Ask God to reveal Himself - and His plans - to you.

One day, you WILL bow before Jesus Christ, but if you wait until death to acknowledge Him as Lord, it will be too late. Repent and believe the Gospel TODAY.
When things aren’t going your way, don’t focus on your situation or your surroundings. Do not become overwhelmed.
Focus on Jesus and look to Him FIRST.
The spiritual war is over. Jesus Christ conquered death, leaving Satan ultimately powerless.
Rest easy tonight knowing that the Evil One cannot and will not prevail; Jesus is Lord, and one day EVERYONE (including Satan) will bow before him.
Praise be to God.
You may not love yourself, you might hate how you look, and maybe you only see the worst of yourself.
The Good News: God LOVES YOU, and says you were perfectly made. He knew you before you were born, and will never stop loving you.

As we begin another week, let us be strengthened by the fact Jesus is still on his throne and God is still in control.

We know that prayer is hard work. Prayer can be discouraging. Often, we pray expecting immediate answers. It’s sort of like when we were gardening, when our children were young, and I had them come out and put the seeds in the row, and we covered them up with dirt, and we watered it. And my daughter came out the next morning and looked at the garden and said, “Dad, it didn’t work,” because she was expecting immediate fruit. Sometimes we do that with prayer.
So how to pray? Remember who you are. Remember who God is. Remember what you have been given. Quote Scripture as you pray. Rest in God's presence and power. Pray for grace and then get up and continue what God has called for you to do!
You are worthy, and you have worth, because you were uniquely created by God. There is none other like you in existence, and God loves you unconditionally.
Pray. Get to know God. Your life will change in amazing ways.

They skinned Matthew alive.
They crucified Peter upside down.
They boiled John in hot oil.
They beheaded James with a sword.
They hung Luke from an olive tree.
They stoned Philip to death.
These men saw the risen Jesus with their own eyes. People will die for something they believe is true. Nobody dies for something they know they made up. None of the apostles died for a lie.
The Bible contains many stories of Jesus reaching out to people who had a past, people who had a reputation, people who were outcasts.
Jesus didn’t care where they had been; He provided a clean slate, and His love took them in an entirely new direction.

We should aspire to be like Jesus out
of gratitude, knowing we don’t deserve the grace & mercy He freely gives to us.
We should NOT aspire to be like Jesus out of belief that it will earn us His grace & mercy.
Repent and follow Him.

A wonderful picture of God’s never-ending willingness to forgive us. Like any loving parent, he will never turn his back on us, whom he calls his children.
