A lovely little peek into elephant devotion: While Lodo took a nap, ‘big brother’ Sattao stood protectively over him, almost soothing him to sleep. (An even sweeter detail: Sattao is now living wild; he popped by for a visit and took it upon himself to babysit!) This is common behaviour among elephants. More often than not, it is females giving the care – but as you see here, males also have a strong nurturing streak. Growing up in our care, these little survivors have found a loving family – one that will support them for the rest of their lives. What started as a mission has now led to over 50 million pounds of trash removed, and we’re not stopping here. This is something you can be part of, every 4ocean bracelet removes one pound of trash from the ocean, rivers, and shorelines. This is bigger than a bracelet, it’s a movement you can wear. bit.ly/4xeXvxO

A breathtaking glimpse of stellar sculptors at work in NGC 346! In the heart of the Tarantula Nebula, a dazzling cluster of newborn stars is putting on a cosmic masterclass in sculpting. These brilliant young giants—some of the hottest and most massive in the universe—are unleashing torrents of intense radiation and blistering stellar winds that carve out a colossal, glowing bubble in the surrounding gas.Like invisible chisels, they’re blasting away dust and hydrogen clouds, revealing intricate pillars, glowing ridges, and dramatic cavities while triggering the birth of even more stars in their wake. It’s creation and destruction happening on a scale that defies imagination.Video by Universal-Sci Credit: ESA/Hubble & NASA, A. Nota, P. Massey, E. Sabbi, C. Murray, M. Zamani (ESA/Hubble)

From biochemistry in our cells, which dates back to the first single-celled creatures living in the ancient oceans, to our arms and legs, which evolved when amphibians crawled onto land, our bodies are far older and more animal than we like to think. m.youtube.com/watch?v=tdzytD…
