Platforms change hands, terms get rewritten. Sometimes new rules apply to posts you already made; sometimes the whole project ends up in liquidation.
This kind of thing is normal for businesses and companies... but it doesn't have to (and shouldn't) be normal for the parts of a protocol that belong to you:
accounts, history, content, friends, funds, access.
Hive exists because normal doesn't always mean acceptable. We came together during a time of real uncertainty and chose to build technology that puts control of your value back in your own hands.
Your Hive account isn't something that can be sold away from you or written over. No company gets to rebrand the graph or put it up for sale. Frontends can compete for attention all they want, but none of them own the social layer.

🔔 Improved notifications when receiving older stickers through direct transfers, even when they aren't stored in your binder.

📖 Binders now let you remove individual pages, which also removes all cards on that page from the binder.

Today for the first time ever I have at long last achieved my goal of owning every regular and gold foil maxed alpha legendary with the original skins.
It took over 8 years of waking up every day and deciding not to leave @splinterlands to accomplish this.
Please do me a favor and help stop perpetrating the OG unfair advantage myth.
It was very hard to buy every one of these cards over 8+ years.
Most of this collection was purchased from players exiting the game.
Please appreciate and value every player who chooses to stay and support the game after years and years.

truly decentralized crypto doesn't have an org chart;
what we do have is a fully public graph.
Witnesses are elected: vote them out or they miss blocks, and the next one produces without a board meeting or slowdown in the interim. Connections, history and API tools sit in the open, owned and used by everyone. The DAO has no keys or controllers, and anyone can propose to it.
