Most reliable sources.
Ornstein & Law of “official” journalists.
Don’t believe every random report.
Not even Di Marzio or Nizaar reliable recently.

And if JP stayed fit, as he did last year, he’d have been on the bench all year and kicked up a fuss.

Football is a wonderful sport we all love.
Football is 3 things for me. Winning, entertainment and being part of a community.
Too many people are transfixed with how you win. The feeling I get walking away from Stamford Bridge with 3 points will ALWAYS supersede how we played.
I have seen it all. From Hoddle, Vialli, Gullit, Mourinho, Ranieri, Conte, Tuchel, Potter, Lampard, Ancellotti to name a few.
The one thing I had in common with all of them, was the feeling I had after a win.
Yes, I want to be entertained, of course I want to see pretty patterns of play and watch amazing goals. After all, football is theatre, but that takes time. For some managers it’s lands quicker than others, some are fortunate that they have the right players at the right time. Some get bought those players and it works and for some, it never materialises. What I want at Chelsea now is long term stability. I want a manager who represents the club and understands the importance of winning. I want a manager who has a long term objective and I believe we have that in Alonso.
I totally get why people are still pissed off post Spurs. It was a car crash, but it’s also a car crash where we all got out of the car with no major injuries. We are 5th, the players are still learning and the season is young.
If Alonso is playing shit football at the end of the season then we can talk, but until then, we sadly just have to expect a bit of a rollercoaster. The ride might even out soon or we might be in for more bumpy turns but it’s about the end goal. Mentality change (still hasn’t happened but getting better) and creating a winning machine. With whatever style is required.
Please give Alonso time. We are lucky to have him after the shit show of the last 4 years!
The jokes just write themselves.

Liam had a better approach to football whether you admit it or not. The squad strike on him.
The two seasons we’ve had 3/4 managers were our worst two seasons in 30 years.
Yet some fans still think we should sack or call a manager’s ability into question 8 games in if they lose a few games.
Brain dead.
These fans want us to become like Man Utd, a mid table side, a mess, changing manager every 10 seconds.
Serious clubs and fans with actual standards have the spine to be patient with an elite manager.
If we’re serious about Chelsea being title winners then have a spine & back Alonso.
Imagine my shock, the usual suspects are already pulling out of context stats to use against Xabi after 8 league games.
If you’re wanting him out or questioning his ability already, you 100% deserve Liam Rosenior back and league one football.
Fans don’t deserve big trophies if they’re gonna call for every single manager to go after one bad defeat or two.
People like that are a genuine embarrassment to the fanbase and the club.
Entitled, impatient, spoiled children with zero ball knowledge.
Had enough of his shit with every manager every time we lose a game. It’s genuinely embarrassing.
If they ran the club we’d have 4 managers a year, every year, no question.
Those people deserve to be laughed at.
Chelsea have had 43 shots on target in the PL this season in 8 games. 5 per game.
We’re the third highest scorers the PL, you complete tool.
In Xabi’s title winning season at Leverkusen they created 125 big chances in 34 games. Third highest in the league. But it took him a year to build that.
He has been at Chelsea 8 league games. We’re 5th in the PL.
You’re already planning your agenda to get him out. Pathetic.
This is getting misunderstood (shock).
Obviously Welbeck is no JP but a large percentage over the summer said Welbeck was good enough who what’s changed? It’s on Alonso to use him instead of lining up without a striker.
We used to have zero goalscoring alternatives. We now do.
You deserve Liam Rosenior and relegation form.
Then they can fuck off out of the club.
Exclusive some Chelsea players unhappy with Alonso here we go again #CFC

“In a culture where narcissism reigns, and where even pre-eminent athletes feel compelled to advertise their greatness in glossy Instagram screeds, Harry Kane is striking a blow for humility and understatement.”

I know I joke about Howe but he is a good manager. Two CL qualifications and first major trophy for 70 years at Newcastle playing football which suits Man Utd.
He’d probably stabilise them as a top 6/top 4 team and win a cup or two, lay foundations - with the right recruitment. But no more.
It will take time. It took him nearly a year at Leverkusen. He’s taken over a club who were in relegation form from February. We have to be patient.
“When are we going to see Alonso start coaching build up?”
“It takes time to perfect a style, but to see basic principles of what you are trying to do, it doesn’t. Maresca we saw his ideas and philosophy instantly”
“I want to see us dominate games, not an average of 48% possession. Lavia was not brought on against Spurs, why?”
“One of the reasons Pochettino got let go was due to the direct style of play. #CFC said they thought Maresca’s style of Football was the best chance of sustained success”
@CFCPys questions Alonso’s direct and transitional style of Football after spending multiple windows recruiting for a ball dominant style of play.

Sonia Bompastor says every Chelsea player is fit to face Roma in the Champions League, except Naomi Girma (who is back running on the pitch) and Mayra Ramirez (no update since last time).
Chelsea could be on a 30 game winning run and still most fans would have anxiety about facing a poor United side.
Xabi Alonso needs to end this jinx and this curse.
Arteta was one game from the sack in 2020. Tuchel was set to replace him.
Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea. Tuchel joined Chelsea a month later.
Go back and look at all the goal droughts ended and managerial careers saved, or new manager bounces v Chelsea.
Callum Robinson scored 5 PL goals in 20/21 - all against Chelsea.

You’ve written six paragraphs explaining that financial doping isn’t physical doping. Groundbreaking stuff.
Between this lad and @buvey, there’s barely enough combined IQ to assemble the toy inside a fucking Kinder Egg.
Comparing Manchester City to Lance Armstrong is absolutely miles off it. 🤣
He PHYSICALLY doped and gave him an unfair advantage that no amount of training or equipment could match. It wasn’t a case as simple as him having a better bike or equipment to gain a slight advantage.
City did not dope or use PEDs. The advantage came from (compared to some clubs but not others) more investment and also just far better investment in the squad, infrastructure, coaching etc. essentially building a better ‘bike’ in the process and then using it more effectively than other teams on the whole.

It is lunacy to suggest sitting Neto to play Estavao at this moment.
Neto is experienced, scores, and works hard defensively. Estavao is still young, gives the ball away, and is a defensive liability.
