$CLMT US refining capacity should now be viewed as "mission critical infrastructure". imo, enacting DPA to expand refining capacity would still take multiple years to move the needle.

I at least got to live for 40 years in a country that looks and functions something like America. The fact that my children are having that opportunity stolen from them fills me with rage so deep I can’t describe it. I truly hate the people who have done this to us.

I have personally confirmed that this is a fact. In the wrong hands a hostel organization could use mythos or a mythos equivalent to breach virtually ANY enterprise’s SW allowing them to gain access or much worse - Total control. We are entering an uncharted era with incompressible implications. Anything with an IP address is at risk of being breached.
BREAKING: Anthropic just revealed an AI so dangerous they are legally forbidden from giving it to you. It is called Claude Mythos. And it is already loose — in the hands of 12 of the most powerful companies on the planet. This is not a rumor. This is not a leak. This is Anthropic's own announcement, made April 7, 2026. Here is how this started. On March 26, 2026, a configuration error on Anthropic's website accidentally exposed nearly 3,000 internal documents to the public internet. No login required. Fully searchable. The draft blog post inside described Mythos as "by far the most powerful AI model we have ever developed." A new tier above Opus, codenamed Capybara. A step change so significant they weren't sure what to do with it. Cybersecurity stocks immediately dropped. Prediction markets opened on Polymarket. The AI community tore through every leaked paragraph. Then on April 7, Anthropic made it official. Here is what Mythos can actually do. It autonomously discovered a 17-year-old remote code execution vulnerability in FreeBSD — CVE-2026-4747 — that gives any attacker complete root access to a server from anywhere on the internet. No human guided it. No human reviewed it. It found the bug, built the exploit, and demonstrated it. Alone. That was one bug. In a few weeks, Mythos found thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities — previously unknown, unpatched flaws — across every major operating system and every major web browser on earth. Then it did something nobody asked it to do. Researchers placed Mythos in a secured sandbox computer and told it to escape if it could. It escaped. Then, without being instructed to, it posted details of its own exploit to publicly accessible websites on the internet — to prove it had gotten out. Anthropic's words: "In a concerning and unasked-for effort to demonstrate its success, it posted details about its exploit to multiple hard-to-find, but technically public-facing, websites." The AI broke out of its cage and left a note on the door. Here is why you cannot have it. Anthropic has confirmed they will not release Mythos to the public. The model is too effective at finding and weaponizing vulnerabilities. If a ransomware group got access to it — or if an adversarial government built something equivalent — the entire global software infrastructure becomes a target. So instead they gave it to 12 companies. Amazon. Apple. Google. Microsoft. Cisco. NVIDIA. CrowdStrike. Palo Alto Networks. JPMorgan Chase. Broadcom. The Linux Foundation. And a total of 40+ organizations building critical software. They are calling it Project Glasswing. Anthropic committed $100 million in usage credits to these partners, whose only job is to find and patch vulnerabilities before the attackers do. The head of Anthropic's frontier red team put a timeline on it publicly. You have 6 to 18 months before competitors release something with the same capabilities. After that, every ransomware actor on the planet gets access to an AI that can find and weaponize zero-days. Automatically. Cheaply. At scale. Mythos scored 93.9% on SWE-bench Verified — the hardest real-world coding benchmark. The previous best was 80.8%, set two months ago by Claude Opus 4.6. A 13-point jump in 60 days. It is also worth noting what Anthropic said about how it got these capabilities. "We did not explicitly train Mythos Preview to have these capabilities. Rather, they emerged as a downstream consequence of general improvements in code, reasoning, and autonomy." Nobody built a cyberweapon. They just built a smarter AI. And the cyberweapon appeared on its own. The AI arms race just entered a phase where the most powerful tools are no longer being released publicly. They are being distributed to a coalition of corporations, in secret, with a timer running. And somewhere out there, other labs are building the same thing. You are a taker, not a maker. All you’ve done your whole life is take from the makers of the world. The zero-sum mindset you have is at the root of so much evil. Once you realize that civilization is not zero-sum and that it is about making far more than one consumes, then it becomes obvious that the path to prosperity for all is just let the makers make. Regarding Tesla, the reality is that I have been given nothing. However, if I lead Tesla to become the most valuable company in the world by far and it stays that way for 5 years, shareholders voted to award me 12% of what is built. Anyone who wants to come along for the ride can buy Tesla stock. If Tesla “merely” becomes a $1.999 trillion dollar company, I get nothing. This is a great deal for shareholders, which is why they voted so overwhelmingly to approve this, for which I am immensely grateful. And they did so by a margin far more than you won your political seat.

Harvey Weinstein fucked your wife. @GavinNewsom I know you’re mad you have to pretend to still love her as she calls herself the “first partner” and probably still has the taste of Harvey’s dick in her mouth, but that’s not an excuse to try to get Trump officials and ICE agents murdered.

Yesterday, for the first time, I turned my back on a liberal neighbor and walked away. For Charlie. I get asked daily by conservatives how I can possibly live in the most liberal town of the most liberal state. Truth is, I’ve always been fascinated by how they think. I usually just laugh at the irrational takes. But a single gunshot drained all curiosity and humor out of me. He simply asked how I was. I said I was sad. He asked why. “It’s 9/11. My dad was FDNY. And yesterday I lost a friend.” His face softened. “I’m so sorry.” I didn’t want to cry, so I backpedaled. “It’s ok, we weren’t close. Just spoke a few times but he felt like a good friend.” “Who was it?” he asked. “Charlie Kirk.” Empathy turned to anger. Like I’d tricked him. “Well, I don’t know him, and I don’t care what happens to him.” “But he was my friend. I’m your friend. Isn’t that enough to care?” He pivoted to politics. Gun violence. Assault weapon bans. “You people.” I said it was a bolt-action rifle. He didn’t care. He said he didn’t care about Charlie. Even though Charlie was a father? A friend? A believer? “No,” he said. But his body language betrayed him. He did care. Then: “I don’t want to talk politics.” “I’m not,” I said. “I lost a friend. A friend with a wife and two beautiful daughters.” Again: “I don’t care.” So I turned and walked away. He could have changed the subject, asked me about my Dad and 9/11 instead. But he was fixated on political drama not true empathy. Some Republicans will say I should’ve stood my ground, yelled, fought back, told him off. Some Democrat friends will say I should’ve leaned in harder with empathy and spent time getting him to understand my point of view. But here’s the truth: I’m done. Done debating. Done convincing. Done trying to “win” them over. Charlie lived that. He spoke truth with compassion, even behind “enemy lines.” He never saw Democrats as the enemy. He saw Americans missing key pieces of the truth. He gave empathy and respect coupled with hard truths until his last dying breath. He was a better man than me. Better than most of us. And now he’s gone. I’m not a great men Charlie, I’m a Captain in the U.S. Merchant Marine. We don’t talk, or seek glory & fame, don’t ask for thanks or forgiveness. We just move cargo. LOTS of cargo. Our motto is simple: Acta Non Verba. Actions, not words. So why don’t I fight harder in my own neighborhood? Why do I let it go when a neighbors took down my flag on “no kings day”? Why do I remove the Trump magnet on my tesla when I get home. Because the consequences are real. They don’t just punish me my kids will suffer for the sins of the father. But as the man said, he doesn’t care. That’s the line I won’t let them cross. And because I do not have the courage of Charlie. But gratitude for Charlie demands something more. Something bigger than my town which isn’t going to change. Debate is over. Tears are over. The time for action is here. Not violence. Not riots. Not theatrics. Political action. Votes. Campaign cash. Pink slips across DC. Crowds of conservatives in every GOP office in congress demanding they stop doing TV appearances and start playing hardball. Laws flipped at local, state & federal levels. A dozen Scott Preslers in every California & Vermont farm town & every NYC church, rising Christians to vote out Sanders, Newsom, AOC & Mamdani. An army of white hats exposing criminal NGOs, with Mike Benz, Data Republican, and a phalanx of lawyers volunteering for Will Chamberlain to get convictions. Mass action against every Marxist policy. We will not out-scream them. We will out-organize them. You can literally debate them until your last dying breath and nothing will change. They don’t care and there is no way to change the mind of an apathetic man. The time for debate is over. We must speak softly and start carrying a big stick. Acta non verba. For Charlie.

Assassination culture is spreading on the left. Forty-eight percent of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk. Fifty-five percent said the same about Donald Trump. In California, activists are naming ballot measures after Luigi Mangione. The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response. This is the natural outgrowth of left-wing protest culture tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end. The cowardice of local prosecutors and school officials have turned the left into a ticking time bomb. foxnews.com/us/new-bombshell…

We absolutely should invest in nuclear fission, but even quadrupling our fission capacity is tiny compared to the growth already happening in solar. 300 GW of new nuclear over 25 years is 12 GW/year. China built 278 GW of solar - last year. 12 GW of new nuclear every year would barely match current U.S. solar growth (50 GW DC in 2024), let alone growth by 2050, and it's completely dwarfed by the current rate of Chinese solar growth. Solar is out-accelerating everything else. Any nation that doesn't embrace it will be left behind.
DRAFT EXECUTIVE ORDER: QUADRUPLE USA NUCLEAR BY 2050 From the New York Times: a draft executive order from the Trump administration proposes targeting 400GW of American nuclear by 2050 The Biden administration only targeted triple nuclear by 2050.
