High Point wins by 13 on the road against a solid ETSU squad.

Bucs fall to High Point 84-71 in the charity exhibition game. Solid showing from a virtually brand new team who lost their best returner prior to the season. Lots to be encouraged by.

High Point on the road today against an ETSU team that is expected to finish near the top of SoCon.

HALF- 41-33 HPU Too many turnovers (9) and not forcing enough turnovers (3) It’s a true road game. Bucs are gritty. Stale environment, gotta come out and create own energy. Get some steals and easy early buckets Highlight- Isaac 5-6 FT #HPUmbb

UNCW-Charleston, as always

Osei Gyamfi has been sent off, a brawl breaks out, some fans join the brawl and are now being escorted out. What the hell is going on… UNCW 2 COFC 1 18 seconds left. #BleedTeal

Nice half for the Cougs. Furman is the SoCon favorite by a good margin.

Charleston leading Furman 52-39 at half. Cougars led most of the way

The best I can provide, the rebounding differential is ASTOUNDING!

I know alcohol sales are down, but tough to see Jose Cuervo picking up gigs as a college soccer referee.

Ridiculously fun + versatile on the offensive end. No reason that 4+ double-figure scorers shouldn’t be the expectation every night. Might have 7 different leading scorers. Just gotta keep getting better defensively!

Fun watch today. This team is deep. Gonna be a fun ride this year.

So awesome when a kid puts in work for a few years, then delivers when his number is called. Shooting is good enough to get some minutes, and defensive effort and toughness will keep him out there.

My biggest take away is this UNCW team is going to be dominant on the boards. The size, athleticism, and genuine instinct translated very well today in that regard.

Nice bounce back performance for the Seahawks. Plenty to like about this team. The effort was great today

CJ Luster finished with 20 points today -- huge bounce back after a tough outing at High Point. Came off the bench today, and it seems the message was received.

UNCW beats UNCG 97-87 in the final exhibition game. Don't have the final numbers, but Patrick Wessler around the 20-point mark, with Makel Smith, Tyler Nelson, and Xavier Brown all in double figures. Defense remains a work in progress, but the offense got rolling today.

UNCW shot 52 percent from the field and won 41-22 on the boards. Seahawks had a 39-32 edge last weekend at HPU, too. This team has a chance to really dominate on the glass.

HALFTIME: UNCW 51 UNCG 45 The Seahawk offense already looks like it’s in mid-season form as Makel Smith has 11. The defense has been very shaky throughout the half. 10 minutes til they go back to work! #BleedTeal

Seahawks allowed 49 points in the first half at High Point, and 45 today vs. UNCG. UNCW allowed an average of 32 points in the 1H last season and only allowed 45+ once.
