Re last tweet : I RUE the fact that throughout my days as a student right up to B School, I didn’t find a single teacher who inspired me. While at Harvard, kids get to study Shakespeare with Stephen Greenblatt, we don’t have an equivalent in India even in 2026. Moreover, Indians abandoned nurturing, intellectual jobs to make careers and dollars overseas.

About 100 years ago, the Japanese traveler Denjiro Hasegawa studied under Rabindranath Tagore before traveling through Kumaon, crossing Lipulekh Pass, and journeying to Mount Kailash. His travels are documented in detail in a book.

We're living in an economy where a guy with a master's degree is delivering groceries to a 22-year-old who made $4 million filming himself screaming at video games. And we're still telling kids to study hard.

#tibet #tibetan

Jamie Dimon to a country that pulled its gold out of New York: you have three armies within 400 miles, while gold in America is protected by two oceans and the US military “If we have the strongest military in the world and the strongest economy in the world, we will be the preeminent reserve currency. It is those two things.” “I was in a country somewhere in the Middle East, and also in Europe, and the people said, we took our gold out of the vaults in New York City and moved it to our country. You know what I said to him? I said, you have three armies within 400 miles who can come take your gold.” “That’s the real world. You’re not thinking clearly about safety. That gold is protected by the Atlantic, the Pacific, the United States military, the rule of law.” “But if we are not the preeminent military and economy, you will see our reserve status come down.”

xitter.cf/2091996981snow/status/…

Good luck.

The only time I see this kid and others like her is when angry desis tweet nonstop about how endian male simps give her monetisable attention.
📣 This clown Rebel Kid used to mock India all the time before moving to New York. But after moving to NYC, she has apparently realised that India is much better than foreign countries. She said she paid ₹4,74,601 for a 22-hour flight back to India just to meet her friends for five days because she feels lonely in New York. And here, this clown even brought up army wives, saying that women whose husbands go to war don't miss them as much as she misses her best friend 🤡

"France takes Algeria from Turkey, and almost every year England annexes another Indian principality: none of this disturbs the balance of power; but when Russia occupies Moldavia and Wallachia, albeit only temporarily, that disturbs the balance of power. France occupies Rome and stays there several years during peacetime: that is nothing; but Russia only thinks of occupying Constantinople, and the peace of Europe is threatened. The English declare war on the Chinese, who have, it seems, offended them: no one has the right to intervene; but Russia is obliged to ask Europe for permission if it quarrels with its neighbour. England threatens Greece to support the false claims of a miserable Jew and burns its fleet: that is a lawful action; but Russia demands a treaty to protect millions of Christians, and that is deemed to strengthen its position in the East at the expense of the balance of power. We can expect nothing from the West but blind hatred and malice...." (comment in the margin by Nicholas I: 'This is the whole point'). — Mikhail Pogodin's memorandum to Nicholas I, 1853
