One of my favorite Sirianni items of this week is that he can’t puzzle out how to win a game with eight seconds left but he’s going to trick other NFL teams by disguising which backup QB we are starting this week

It’s something that women enjoy and the dirtbag left is fundamentally misogynistic. It’s the same reason they all think Kamala Harris does pills and Nancy Pelosi is a drunk.
In today’s edition of “Smarty talks politics”:
It seems that many of you do not like Hakeem Jeffries and do not want him as Speaker of the House.
I’d like you to tell me - in your own words! - why you feel this way.

AIPAC accounts for roughly 0.07% of registered federal lobbying and well under 1% of total election spending. In fact its 191st on the list.
Because its related to Jews it gets 100% of the attention.
A striking stat re AIPAC performance in the midterms. In 2022, almost 70% of its funds went into races where it got the desired result. In 2024, it was 87%. In 2026, that figure is 34%.

Since I've punched the left a lot this afternoon, I will agree with them on this- if Trump and Thune try to seat a SCOTUS Justice in the lame duck, @SenSchumer and the Senate D's need to leave and deny a quorum to vote for the next two months. #SCOTUS

The so-called "Boycott Ride" targeting Jewish businesses on the eve of Kristallnacht should be chilling to everyone. Anyone can certainly support Palestinian rights & oppose Netanyahu's government. But aiming at local businesses, just because they're Jewish, is despicable.

I do sympathize with leftists who are still unsatisfied with the direction of this country. But as oomf said on another side, if you refuse to allow yourself to be happy with anything short of overnight communism you're just going to make yourself miserable.

According to the official NBA schedule analysis, the 76ers actually possess the single toughest opening 10-game stretch in the entire league, meaning their density of elite opponents is frontloaded more heavily than anyone else's.
Silver waited on Bron to make the schedule 😑

It wasn't the sexual assault allegations.
It wasn't the coup attempt on January 6th.
It wasn't the racism.
It wasn't the transphobia.
It was the price of gas and groceries. As great as last night was, the sad reality is that Americans didn't care until it affected their wallets

I'd bet against.
- These ideas are losers.
- Even in SF the centrists are winning over the hard left.
- The biggest winners this cycle were all running as "normal" centrists who were just fed up with the disaster of Trumpism: Ossoff, Cooper, Talarico, Peltola...
- The base is actually suburban wine moms. The loud hyperonline activisty types have repeatedly shown themselves to be both unreliable coalition partners and unnecessary.

We can hold Trump accountable while also looking for ways to help alleviate the economic pain that the American people are experiencing.
Two things can be true at once, sir.

The Democrats' very first bill should be the $5000 thing, send it to Trump's desk. Make him veto it.
Joe Milton will probably suck, but at least having a guy who can run around may make the offense slightly less awful to watch

Keep track of this btw. Dems are beating Republicans everywhere and Hasan Piker is focused on unseating Democrats. Wake up. He’s not on our team.
Hasan says he's coming for Democratic congress members Hillary Scholten and Josh Gottheimer
"We're coming for you, 2 years Hillary..what are we gonna do now Mike Lawler, you come at the king you best not miss B..I didn't even do anything in that race, but it doesn't matter..Josh Gottheimer, your days are numbered in office"

Politics is a circus. They make you believe that 5 trans basketball players across the country are the biggest issue we face. Its not. We all just want to be able to go to work, come home and live our lives without constant financial worry. Were really not that different.

Every Democrat who won a competitive district tonight is a political moderate. Normies. Non-fanatics. Clergy and doctors. AND YET, the progressive wing looks at these moderate victories as proof that what the party really needs is more fanatics.
Eric Hoffer called this decades ago in The True Believer. Fanatics actually despise moderates more than their real enemies. Why? Because incremental wins preserve the system they want to tear down. To them, steady progress is a bigger threat than losing.
🚨 Ro Khanna Urges Democrats to Embrace Hasan Piker as He Calls for a Radical Transformation of the Democratic Party
During an election-night conversation with Hasan Piker, Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna revealed that fellow House Democrats had questioned his decision to appear on the streamer's Twitch broadcast.
Khanna defended his appearance, arguing that Democrats should recognize Piker's enormous audience and influence among younger voters. He even expressed frustration that more of his colleagues have yet to recognize the political value of engaging with him.
The conversation then shifted to what the night's apparent blue wave could mean for the Democratic Party's ideological future.
Khanna argued that the Left's electoral performance demonstrated the political advantages of a strong progressive flank, while acknowledging that the party establishment would not simply concede the ideological battles ahead.
“When it comes to taxing billionaire wealth and Medicare for all and free college and zeroing out aid to Israel and stopping military sales, there's still gonna be a fight.”
Hasan took the discussion further, asking how Democrats could build a legislative agenda that would ensure Republicans never regain political power.
Khanna responded by calling for a sweeping expansion of government, including a wealth tax on billionaires, Medicare for All, free college, and free childcare.
He also warned Democrats against allowing the party's political consultants to impose an incrementalist approach to governing, arguing that electoral victories mean little without radical change.
“I want a Democratic Party that's actually gonna transform the political economic system and our foreign policy.”
