If people think I am combative, so be it. Growing up, Asian-Americans often have to overcome a multi-generational cultural fear of standing out and standing up. That fear was real for me, and I'm glad I conquered it. If you stand for nothing, what will you fall for?

Don’t make these mistakes if you’re a junior or entry level engineer!! If you’re a college student, it’s ok to have non-tech jobs on your resume but prioritize listing relevant work, like being a TA or lab assistant, over working at McDonalds
