So @ScottJenningsKY looks like democrats based on the mid terms were on the right side of all the 80/20 issues

Well what a great election result as #tocouncil pushed significantly to the left and the right flank won’t be able to pass it influence any vote as the left and centre left easily have enough votes so now it is time for progressive to hold chow accountable as she has no excuse

A wave of new progressive councillors coming in with Chow’s reelection - Chan McNally, Padovani, Stikuts, Erhardt, Layton, and Nate of course… that’s how you turn a weak mayoralty into legislative action.

So @DanaBashCNN how do you not call out Islamophobia on that bin laden comment on national tv about an Arab persons and then thank them instead of condoning them especially when you preach about anti sentiment heating #cnn #uspoli

it is a close race between @oliviachow and @BradMBradford because @oliviachow has decided to try to win voters who won’t vote for her by running way to the centre as she has focused on investing in police and on pro isarel policies instead of building a progressive base #topoli

watching zionists melt down over this statement which plainly lists statistics about the scale of israel's genocide in gaza is confusing. if you don't want people to state how many kids you're killing, then stop killing kids
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

So @CheriDiNovo is it progressive of @MayorOliviaChow to not mention the word #palestine or #genocide when talking about the anniversary of the continuing genocide today as chow didint mention the word Palestine, genocide and Islamophobia

We need PR now.
28 per cent of the vote -- by far the lowest winning percentage in modern Canadian history. And yet they still came within a few seats of a majority. Not quite as insane a result as it might have been, but still pretty insane. electionsquebec.qc.ca/en/res…

Deaa as r @nationalpost you should never be allowed to publish anything again after posting an op Ed calling for violence and death threats against a leader of a Canadian political party #cdnpoli #islamophobia #seanfraser #marcmiller #bannationalpost

If calling isarel actions an act of genocide is anti semitism then apparently former members of the IDF are anti semitic or maybe being critical of government and state isn’t anti semitic and democratic #genocide theguardian.com/film/2026/se…

Enes Kanter is causing more harm and damage to the women he claims he is trying to protect. THIS is lame.

So Enes Kanter just goes to WNBA games by himself to troll the players and people think it's a good look—as opposed to feeling abject embarrassment for the guy?

How is @m_layton splitting the progressive vote with @DianaYoonTO a smart progressive move #tocouncil #topoli

So @m_layton is running against another really progressive candidate @DianaYoonTO and yet Mike is saying he is doing this for progressive reasons so please explain again Mike #tocouncil

As a fan of the @Raptors I don’t get the argument the team would be punished for #leonard being suspended as an individual suspension is punishing a player for there role so what team there on doesn’t matter as #nba

It is funny people blame #mamdani for the issues of how much a power grid can take as not like the power grid system has not been around or global warming he created #nypoli

Or just adopt a proportional representation system for elections (which, in most forms, would also involve increasing the number of MPs). The senate doesn't meaningfully represent anyone but themselves. It should be abolished.

With @oliviachow running for reelection I hope progressive and @OntarioNDP say no to her pro police budgets, attacking protest rights, attacking Palestinian protestors with her pro isarel policies and not extending subway hours #topoli
