“Let AI figure it out” gets expensive at 50 million rows. That’s one small game with 30K monthly users over a year. @GamersLabRise uses tools and rollups to build evidence around specific questions: retention, funnels, economy and more. AI gets a useful starting point. Then queries deeper where needed. Throwing more AI at the database isn’t a data strategy.

listening to people talk about how we wont need websites anymore is giving me a headache cause your ai agent would get the info and display it to you your app running as a server could serve the UI to it (cause all text is bad) maybe it could use some sort of cross functional simple markup language to explain your content even serve some images with it .. and a logo ... and oh wait....

"Company Brains" that use a grab bag of data (docs, vectorDBs, etc) will be out of fashion in 6 months or less. Fact databases with confirmed facts will be in. A curated set of useful facts that have been human confirmed will out perform archived data that is months out of date. (Mistakes are bound to occur this way). @GamersLabRise uses its own fact DB per game.

I told AI to cook. It opened a restaurant. (sound on)! The brief: explain @GamersLabRise 's new workflow with a restaurant analogy. Script: 80 seconds max. Then make the video. No extra direction. (Music and closing logo by me). Everything else? Served by AI.

If you are putting your company logo next to everything you write online, you are representing them online. Its pretty straight forward 🤷‍♂️

I met my wife just after I had moved out of my one room apartment that cost $150 USD a month, and I could barely afford it. We were both going to the same medical school in China doing grad school in different specializations. We didnt have two extra yuan to our name to rub together. We worked hard and over time built a life together. This is us living in Japan about 1 year after getting married. Not long after we had our daughter which changed the trajectory of our life again. Good things are built together (at any age). Marriage is not about economics.

imagine a cardiologists routinely being asked to scare the crap out of random family members to see if they drop dead.
Request for startup: a service that regularly penetration-tests your older family members. Try to scam/phish/social-engineer them, report the vulnerabilities to you, then train them on whatever they failed.

Ive said it once, but ill say it again. This is some of the most performative nonsense bordering on fetish of medicalism that I have ever seen. Both Bryan and his partner are what we call N-of-1 studies. Which means it is both statistically meaningless and only applies to them. If one of them licked lead paint and then had more toe hair, it doesnt mean that licking lead pain causes more toe hair (and it doesnt matter how many bio markers you measure). Additionally, both of them appear to be on so many interventions at one time, that we cannot accurately control for anything. Despite using many measurements and "interventions" this is the absolute contrary position of evidence based medicine, to which the gold standard is randomized double blind studies of reasonable sample sizes and repeatability. And yet, Bryan Johnson cherry picks studies to reference and champion while completely ignoring others because it may fit (or not fit) his narrative. His cases neither prove nor disprove either. While I agree that medicine is a moving target and the vast majority of medicine is actually experience based. (Researchers have argued often, but about 10 - 50% of medicine is research and "evidence" based, compared to the rest being clinical experience). Despite what he claims, he is not moving the advancement of medicine forward in any meaningful way, and perhaps is actually moving it backwards through the public perception that more tests and interventions through dubious means is better. If he truly cared about medical conditions, such as those effecting his partner, he would be working with various recognized institutions to help fund cutting edge studies while also examining the reproducibility of past studies that showed promise into largest scale investigations. But he doesn't, he cares about himself and his image. Therefore, he continues to post his fetish on the internet.
Kate’s period will start any minute now…. I’ve been waiting for 34 days. This is historic; the most measured menstrual cycle in history. What we’ve measured so far: > 408 min of brain data > 10k blood glucose readings > 48,960 core body temp readings > 136 photos of her body > much more.. see below In total, 14 million data points. Full list of what we’re measuring: > core body temp via ingested pill > pain threshold > grip strength > photograph of the body > body thermal temperature > blood pressure > weighing menstrual blood > cortisol > blood glucose > DNA methylation > oral microbiome > stool microbiome > urine metabolites for hormones > stool microbiome > vaginal microbiome > cervical mucus > sleep > wearable > resting metabolic rate > metabolism. > techno-tampon, for lady boners > reaction time > skin biological age > brain with Kernel > breast measurement > urine concentration > hormone concentration > weight > nutrition proud of @_katetolo for becoming the world's most measured woman

I am obsessed about making analytics understandable and actionable to anyone. - identify what is most important - simplify - simplify again - progress disclosure (show little by little) - make a happy path (easy next step buttons)

Developers should spend their time creating fun. Not digging through dashboards to find where it broke. Gamers Lab finds the friction and shows what to test next.

A Vancouver good first date is simply walking on the seawall with a coffee in hand. Fight me.
Matchmaking client in NYC, 32, finance, Jewish, medium handsome but funny, all-around good dude. I think I’ve found his dream match: she’s 26, amazing family, sexy + refined vibe, Jewish obviously, and down to meet him. I make the introduction, then… he texts me saying she bailed. I check in with her. She says he asked her to dinner at Crown Alley, and based on that alone, she knows he’s not a fit. Obviously I feel bad for RJ, and yeah it’s lame to be judgy about first date plans, but… I actually agree with her on this one. The problem has nothing to do with wanting a more expensive first date. This woman just knows her vibe, and giant pretzels don’t exactly give “sexy” or “refined.” RJ either needs to adjust his go-to first date plan, or go after the type of woman who wants to meet over a ham and cheese toasty 🤣

been tweeting about this for 2 years now its coming
This paper gives a fancy name to a problem you can already feel in your bones "The Tragedy of the Cognitive Commons." Checking AI output requires deep expertise. Deep expertise comes from doing grunt work for years. And grunt work is the first thing AI eats So we're building systems that need expert supervision while dismantling the only known process for making experts The paper calls the shared pool of human expertise the "cognitive commons." Every profession drinks from it. Nobody's refilling it. By eliminating junior roles, each company is acting totally rationally, and the collective result: a profession that can't catch AI's mistakes anymore because it never learned to do the work in the first place Who checks AI's homework in 15 years?
