Walmart $WMT has an EPS that grows at 11% per annum. With a P/E of 45x effectively youd need 409 more years of that growth to have this valuation make sense 🤔

Micron $MU intends to return 100% of its excess cash to shareholders over time. FCF expectations(!) 2026 - 59bn$ 2027e - 143bn$ 2028e - 176bn$ 2029e - 179 bn$ * Historically they done 2.5bn$ buybacks. The market cap may now be 10x higher, but buybacks are potentially 40/50x higher. Exactly how MAG 7 became powerhouses they are today 🤔

Take price out of it! Imagine a year where America had a dictator led government. Where they launched a 9 month long bombing on Iran, where Iran didnt surrender but instead bombed the middle east. Imagine a year where oil spikes & inflation starts to lose control. Imagine a year whereby all American allies are threatened with tariffs or having their land taken. Imagine a year whereby debt yield becomes uncontrollable because of uncertainty. Imagine a year where the dictator is partially overthrown & even more uncertainty is created. Now imagine what the stock market would look like $SPY $QQQ $MU Now, you see why all growth stocks have been destroyed.. across space, AI , Quantum , Crypto, pyschedilics etc etc.. Why consumer staples have the largest P/E of all sub categories. Nothing, absolutely nothing to do with core business fundamentals! $XLK $DRAM

Why do people think its shameful to offer a membership? Why did I study to doctorate level in business/ finance? Why did I work for a big 4 accounting firm? Why if Ive been succesful over the last 9 years can I not use my learnings/ experience to help others? Ive lost 16k$ this month & people think it would be shameful to have a side business & earn steady income for value added work Ive prepared as a professional? $SPY $QQQ
You're a quasi-bot then. No real difference. The sole purpose of this account is to sell your membership, correct?

This is how an amateur/inexperienced trader thinks. They look for reasons, but never attribute them to macro factors. Why would DRAM makers take on LTAs if they didnt have any downside protection. Thats the entire point of them?! They were created to break the prior cycle. Minimum purchases, prices floors, back end agreements & as he states.. up front prepayments (which are very useful now) Incredible to become this bearish with tech trading at 17x forward P/E & nearly all indicators at decade lows. Lets not forget that Korea has been getting deleveraged consistently for months. I think companies have grown too fast for natural capital to support their fair values. In time it should come. $MU $SKHY I know Jukan is young but he will be cancelled soon if he doesnt stick to raw research.
I'd like to believe LTAs are durable too. But take one example. Analog chipmaker onsemi said this in 2023. On January 5, 2023, at JPMorgan's CES forum, CEO Hassane El-Khoury was asked how much LTSAs would still hold once the shortage eased. His answer: “They are a legally binding agreement ’cause they’re a liability for the customer because they’re take or pay.” He also said he would not accept a customer reopening price talks just because it could get the same parts 10% cheaper elsewhere. On October 30, 2023, on the Q3 earnings call, onsemi cut its SiC shipment forecast for the year from $1 billion to more than $800 million after one automotive OEM reduced demand. An analyst asked how this could happen when the company had been saying its LTSAs were legally binding. The same CEO reaffirmed that they were binding, but said he did not want to enforce the contracts just to push inventory onto a customer whose demand had dropped. If it worked for both sides, terms could be adjusted customer by customer, whether by a quarter, a year, or longer. In its 10-K filings, onsemi also states that it amended LTSAs with some strategic customers by mutual agreement in 2024, and changed delivery schedules and committed volumes on some LTSAs in 2025 as demand shifted. Microchip is another case. Customers in its Preferred Supply Program (PSP) originally had to place 12 months of orders and could not cancel or reschedule them unless Microchip raised prices. On its November 2025 earnings call, however, the CEO said the company had accepted some cancellations and pushouts so customers could adjust their backlog. On the same call, the CFO separately addressed the multiyear LTSAs the company had signed. Some of those contracts were still in effect, he said, but customers had been allowed to defer taking delivery of committed volumes by one to two years if they needed to. Every time I see cases like these, I doubt how much memory makers' LTAs will protect earnings in a downcycle. Right now the most reliable thing is the prepayments and deposits themselves. That cash can go into capacity expansion today. I can picture hyperscalers with no DRAM inventory continuing to buy at current prices. But once inventory has piled up, will they keep taking every committed unit at the same price? I have a hard time picturing memory makers holding customers to the high contract price all the way through. The LTA itself may never be broken and may stay in place. But if both sides agree to push this year's volumes into next year or two years out, this year's earnings estimates come down. If price gets renegotiated too, margin estimates have to come down as well. Again, I agree LTAs are sturdier than they used to be. What I question is whether, after demand turns, memory makers can still earn 80% margins on contracts signed during the upturn and keep collecting hundreds of billions of dollars in profit because of those LTAs.

The technology $XLK Forward P/E is now 17x, making it less valuable than $SPY , health care, real estate, Consumer staples & discretionary. This is the midst of a recession valuation. Meanwhile in reality, there is bottlenecks everywhere, supply is outrunning demand, prob a decade of growth still to come, profits exploding & guidance being raised years in advance 🤷‍♂️
Wow tech is now among the cheaper S&P 500 sectors GS I mean, Real Estate has a higher P/E

The only take can be Trump broke growth & risk on with his uncertainty, war mongering, tariff stunts, inflation troubles, unpredictability & ally bullying. The market has had enough with the uncertainty & technology / innovation is paying the price. There is also the reality that it is so overleveraged by hungry gamblers that it needs a full parsing. Thats here.. now. So it all has to be a buy!

Do you want to know how I made it out of the corportate rat race 5 years ago? It wasnt by investing in consumer staples🥱 Risk it when you are young. Reach for the stars & do all of the below. If you do eventually strike gold, then you can change your approach $SPY
My "I can't take you seriously" list: > You are under 25 and have a Fin Substack > You talk about the crazy low P/E for Semis > You have stock tickers in your bio > You call yourself a trader but were in diapers in 2008 > You quote Warren Buffet but own $IREN and $NBIS > You call every dip a generational buying opportunity > You can be a macro expert or technical analyst depending on the day > You don't know who Angelo Mozillo is

Lumentum $LITE at 520$ , yes please, drop yourself into my trolley. Why? 1. Potential cash counterbid at 800$-1000$ per share 2 Beat Q3 expectations, next quarter raises.. revenue of $1.6 billion (8% above estimates), adjusted EPS of $5.90–$6.20. 3.Components revenue rose 99% to $754 million & they also secured their second major NPO/CPO deal, backed by more than $5 billion in purchase commitments. 4. FCF postive in teh quarter after capital expenditures. & yes I do think $MRVL is undervalued here too. It will rise together when the market settles.

Celestica $CLS is a hugely underrated gem in this sell off. Trading at 11.42x forward P/E, looking at 90% revenue/ EPS growth rate in 2027. Yes, it supplies to data centres but it does so globally. Heres where the market is getting mixed up; It is expanding its manufacturing footprint in the Dallas–Fort Worth area as part of a wider capacity investment programme, but manufacturing there doesnt mean it will be dedicated for a texas data centre. .. interestingly, it says customer demand forecasts for 2028 are “meaningfully higher” than its 2027 revenue outlook. Operating margin was 7.6% in Q3 2025 to 8.5% in Q3 2026 , with management targeting 9.0% for full-year 2027.

Shark Playbook; Wednesday_ Let late longs in premarket then attack the AI Infrastructure trade as soon as Texas officially turns blue. A huge AI state that wasnt odds on for a democrat win (40/60) Thursday_ Throw the kitchen sink short, pay an anon electee to throttle on the neck of AI. Flood the market with FUD articles. Some voices jump on board as they see where the tide is going. Friday_ Attract more late longs premarket, stomp on them at open, pick out individual names to attack. Break the spirit. At some point whales step in ,the shorts cut positions & we get our actual move back up. Can be choppy until then. $SPY $QQQ $MU $DRAM

The AI market is showing glimpses of life this morning but alot of the premarket risers are giving it all back. Its not a game we need to win today. Im ready for a bumpy road. In the end my thesis will be proven right & I should be rewarded. Our main enemy is time! $QQQ $SPY
Another important piece you may have missed overnight 👀 Anthropic $ANT has increased its annual rev runrate to 80bn$ by Ocotober close. 🆙️ This is a 14% raise on expectations & 8% beat on Semi Analysis commentary. Markets had got worried when the S1 had excluded this amount recently.
